How will you be paying?

Sorry guys, I thought Escrow handled the payment service but it looks like it isn't that simple.

What is the safest most convenient way to trade coins here outside of an exchange?

Escrow will only handle the BTC until the seller has received money. But you'll have to specify a payment method through which you'll be sending the money, such as Bank wire, Western Union, Skrill, MoneyGram etc.
I can sell you BTC if you're paying with WU or MG.

If you pay perfect money or WU/MG I will sell you.

Its really suspicious, you even do not know which payment method you will use.

I assumed escrow which my friend recommended if I'm trading online handled payments, such as WU, paypal, but someone explained above that it only holds the btc. If Escrow holds the BTC, I send a payment to the seller, what stops the seller from claiming he never received payment thus the btc is never released to me?

Read about many scams regarding crypto online so excuse the paranoia.

Depending on the payment method, you could let the escrow holder also receive the payment as well, and load it to whatever method the seller is using.

Alternatively, you could just choose to only do trades with trusted members like me! ;D

Make sure you have the necessary documentation from your payment that you can send to your escrow. If you choose a trusted escrow and tradee it will be less likely that you encounter this issue. In the case of a disagreement, the escrow will act as a arbiter and resolve the problem - usually based upon who can provide proof.

Tried expresscoin but they haven't sent me the sms to verify my phone, sent them an email and they say they are available mon-fri. Want them for the weekend.

Anyone want to sell some BTC's through a convenient/safe method? Can pay by paypal or bank transfer (would be instant if you are in the UK through online banking).

I think +5% is the standard rate here so I'm fine with that.

With your new account and lack of trust, no one will accept paypal payment from you. If you want to do a bank cash deposit, I can sell you 2 btc, and willing to walk you through the process if you don't already know how. MG/WU has relatively high service fees, cash deposit at a bank has no fees for either of us.

Ye I understand that. I did manage to do a transaction with Lou Reed, all things went smoothly so maybe he can vouch for me.

Haploid, where do you live? I can calculate MG/WU senders fee costs from that and see if its worth it.

I'm located in the US. But why does it matter? You already bought the 2btc, unless you need more?

Btw, you might want to edit out the name of the person you just mentioned. Don't every put a real name in a public post, especially since it's not yours.

Yep, all went great! I may be able to do more, just waiting for someone to get back to me. If he backs out, I will pm you.

Na, I don't think he'll mind, he's dead! ;)

Need 1 or 2 more BTC. BTC stamp+5%.

Can pay via WU if you can transfer the BTC fast, otherwise would prefer paypal as quick and easy. I know most are reluctant with paypal but I did a paypal transaction with one of the members above on this thread, and he confirmed everything went fine. ^LouReed.
