U.S. coins preferably. I think it depends on what they want to use it for. And if they want the gold to be IRA approved. Of course, both of them are IRA approved, but coins usually are less than bullions. And only certain types of rare coins are IRA approved, but they can go into other things basically like it. So far I have not collected the rarer bullion coins.
