Title: What fund options do I have to invest my pension in bitcoin?
Post by: retrend on June 01, 2014, 07:56:32 PM
I've got some money in a pension fund that I can't take out of it but I can select what fund it's invested in.

What choices does this leave me with if I want it to be in bitcoins, if any?

Retrend,

Here's a contact I have @ Secondmarket/Bitcoin Investment Trust:

You can partition/authorise 401K into their platform. Jack is a good guy and would be more than happy to discuss your needs.

I personally didn't invest with them as I found another investment strategy with better yields - But the company seems a legit means of investing in Bitcoin space. Would be great to hear from other Bitcoiners here who have actually invested via B.I.T

or wait some months, there will be a fund in new york:

but to be clear: that is high risk investment.

This is not available yet, but there will likely be a BTC ETF in the relatively near future.
