Basically that's a hidden 0.5% premine of the pow phase

it's a 0.5% premine spread over the life of pow.  it's not a bad thing for the dev to get paid.  programmers work their asses off.

It is not a huge amount when coin starts and dev could dump a lot.

It's normal that get rejected or orpahns blocks. I just got 2 blocks in solo, the rest of them rejecteds or orphans. Now use the pool ;)

Anyone finding blocks solo? I've been at it with 10Mh for a couple of hours and haven't found anything. At this diff I thought I would have had better luck. It's rare to get in on a coin before it goes to pools and the diff spikes.

This is the absolute best way to distribute coins to the dev.  They should get paid for as long as the coin is successful.  If they get a 3% premine in the beginning they dump at a decent price and walk away.

I believe it's better to be listed on exchanges after a day or two after launch, instead of a quick listing. By this way, the coin will have a big exchange vol in the first 24 hours and attracts more attention. Consequently, early miners can earn more money.  Don't others agree with me?

I have some Sapphire Dual-X 280x and I'm getting 2.450 without spending time to find the best hashrate. Here's my config:

100% Agree.  There is a 0.5% rake by the dev on all blocks.  I'd rather this, than premine.

I agree as well.  Listing the second the coin is launched allows private china multipools to get a value of the coin and then automatically you see 50-100gh/s on the network and nobody can account for it in any public pools.  If you keep the coin off the market for a few days, it gives miners a chance to collect coins instead of a massive multipool dumping them for a price just above electricity cost.

you can see all the chinese asics operating on dedicatedpool and im sure there are more and larger on solo.. x13 is fucked and belongs to china where they make asics way ahead of ever introducing it to the public because they can make it in their bedroom with a soldering iron. china will own all the coins.. or a great majority. and you will buy it from them.

It's not ASIC's lol. Just big GPU farms, this big GPU farms existed 6 months ago, and for sure nobody sold them out. You can have a group of people with like 50-100 GPU's each together, on private pool. Chinese can do this well. There's nobody making in a few days x13 ASIC hardware.

Guys there are no X11 or X13 ASICS. Trust me, I know, look at my affiliate sig.
IF X11 or X13 becomes a profitable algo, then they will start developing, tape-out,
and producing an Asic, but that will take months, not weeks like people think.
X13 just started and X11 is only a few months old.  It is very easy to have a gpu
farm that did like 50 MH/S  scrypt doing 200MH/s of X11.

Guys, not asics...  FPGAs. They are programmable.. And so all the algos in the x11 or x13 chain can be run on those badboys (allegedly.. But realistically, no reason why they couldnt, they are non memory hard algos etc..

I believe this mehod is much better than premine. Instead of "the devs have a lot of coins as premine to dump at the launch", they will earn coin as more people mine the coin in the long term, and they will be more devoted to develop and promote the coin, instead of leaving it.

sure total is 50 million max, but do you know how many damn years it would take to hit that max with only 10% stake? which a 10% stake only maybe 3 or 4 % would actually be seen. so that's way way way down the road

This coin was instamined. Am I missing something?

No it wasn't. For some reason, when this coin was released and no pools picked it up, so there was a window of a couple of days where the diff was like 14 and a hand full of us were solo mining it. We started from block 0.

I just got into X13 mining. I'm using sph-sgminer wih x13 mod and I'm getting around 4.6MH/s from my 2X 280X setup. Is this OK? I'm comparing this to WhatMine.com and they say I should be getting 11.25 MH/s for X13 if I get 1.4 MH/s from Scrypt. Are they miscalculating something there or am I not using the right settings in CG miner?

My settings are -I 18 -g 2 -w 264 --gpu-engine 1150 --gpu-memclock 1000 --vectors 1. Also tried with -I 19 and MH/s are the same.

EDIT: Seems there was a bug in their calculator engine. I reintroduced the data in the calculator and now WhatMine shows 4.38 MH/s for X13 if I use 1.4 MH/s for Scrypt so I guess it's all good.

I am having around ~2.5 MH for 280X with -I 17 -g 4 -w 128

This was a dead China coin from day 1 with zero development and copying the code from Boostcoin (you can't even see this now because the source has been removed from github). The only reason people jumped on this coin was because your reputable pool made you think this is a good coin. It it sad that people invest in such scams.

Even without pool the coin had hasrate of several GH, so it wasn't because of a pool. What about the price drop i don't think it will last for long, there was somebody who bought 15 BTC value of coin at 14 K satoshi and 5 BTC at 9K satoshi. I don' think that they would buy in if they wouldn't want to get profit from it, so i expect a pump soon to 20K-30K satoshi

The pool just made it worse. It kind of put a positive stamp on this coin.
There are no buyers for this coin anymore. I am sorry for people who invested in this shitcoin, however it is their fault - always do due diligence before investing.
