Title: Liberty Reserve to Western Union exchange
Post by: spondylus on February 12, 2012, 04:55:28 PM
Five days ago I sent $415.37 to your Liberty Reserve account U2998291 (BtX) from my Liberty Reserve account U0236956 (spondylus).

I requested an exchange to Western Union funds to be sent to me in Ecuador.

Nothing has happened. I have received no e-mail from you or any notice about the transaction. I have e-mailed you without reply.

When will you make the exchange?

You are probably doing a trade with BitcoinExchange?

I'm not sure if that service monitors this BitcoinTalk forum but it does offer an AIM communication method for support (as well as e-mail), if you weren't aware.

Yes. Bitcoinexchange.cc

I have e-mailed him repeatedly without response.

He has not made the trade or replied to me. It has been six days.

Now I am trying Skype. I don`t know if his business is legitimate or not, at this point.

How does AIM work?

Guys you just don't send your exchange order to anyone who have advertised online. Be careful and use reliable and recommended exchange services like Http://swapmybuck.com

freddy8 your recommendation in your previous post is no longer in business.  This swapmybuck one had its domain registered just a couple weeks ago.

When exchanging non-reversible payments like Liberty Reserve or other digital currencies like Perfect Money, one needs to have good reason to trust the counterparty.

Sometimes buyer or seller can be found through the #Bitcoin-otc marketplace, and the -otc Web of Trust (WoT) is useful to see the counterparty's trust history:

Use exchanger with good standing and trusted service, I recommend http://swapmybuck.com for quick exchange less than 1hour and avoid regrets. I wound like to post screen shots for my LR exchange if possible. I loved their speed all the best pals.

"Trust no one!", that is the first thing I learned from bitcoin.
