Crypti is a new crypto-currency designed from the ground up to solve Bitcoin’s biggest problem - lack of commerce oriented infrastructure.

IPO
Because Crypti is a Proof-of-Stake crypto-currency we will rely on an IPO for initial distribution of the supply. One Crypti will have 8 digits after the decimal point.

The IPO will last 4 weeks and we will accept Bitcoin only. In order to encourage people not to wait until the last day to invest, an investment structure rewarding early adopters will be used.

Please note that after the IPO is finished it might be possible that the project is not yet ready for release. We are aiming to provide a public beta during or soon after the IPO.

The source code of the complete project and following updates will be provided in quarterly releases. This will protect investors against early clones.

It's a merchant account with real-life validation (via KYC procedure) and ratings system built on top of the user (custom) block-chain, that will guarantee an authenticity with reputation (think eBay accounts). That way customers will be assured they are buying from a reputable merchant, and could rate dealings with this merchant for other buyers to see. We are looking to use some of the POS blockchain capabilities to assist with prevention of possible ratings gaming.

This will be also a great example to user block-chain, showing the potential to various applications on top of Crypti's main chain.

As per the transcation fees, to motivate merchants do the extra KYC effort and open their business to the ratings system, Crypti will compensate them with a portion of the transaction fees, for transactions sent to these validated addresses.

Developers can create custom blockchains via our SDK. Custom blockchain will be connected with main Crypti blockchain.
You can store, calculate, process data in custom blockchain.

Owner of blockchain can earn new coins, users who support new nodes too.
Clients can use custom blockchain for own tasks, order it with Crypti.

Don't know why but looking at the screenshots remind me of edgecoin.  Maybe I'm still traumatized.  Will be waiting to see who escrow this IPO before investing.

Take a look at what DCM just did. Let Bittrex do the IPO and hold the funds in escrow untill a transparent wallet is made. Good strategy.

Fellow EDG investor here, Anon saved me some coins back then, so escrow with a reputable member is the planned way to go.

We are looking into this option, centralized exchange trading (through 3rd party exchanges) will be available, dex (distributed exchange) might be possible as well.
The idea is to give a solid lean platform to developers make their own applications and services on top of Crypti, so in theory someone can even build one on top of a custom block-chain.

While it's a nice concept, I see that some people already selling sub-IPO prices, which may hurt the distribution.

Moreover that as Crypi is built from scratch, we expect that it will take some for exchanges to start supporting it (though the SDK should make it easier).

We are focusing right now on completing and launching the beta of the product, as the specs pretty much defined.
While the white-paper is important for the long term vision and we will look at it after the beta launch, we prefer to have a real product to show first.

We indeed used Qora post as an inspiration, but only because we liked the newly formatted opening provided by the Qora community.
Myself being a Qora (minority) holder also helped to this decision :).

We target a different space than Qora (or other cryptos for the matter), Crypti will be oriented on business and merchant space, enabling developers to launch new products and services on top of it using the custom block-chains.

Crypti will be fully in javascript, running on node.js.

We will announce in this thread, once we can guarantee the beta launch times.

Again, we only used the Qora new thread opener as a formatting and text example.

As mentioned before, we took Qora opener as an example only because we liked how well the text written and formatted, that said Crypti development started long before we even heard about Qora, and it targets a diffrent set of problems and needs than Qora (or other cryptos that we know).

Also looking at Qora opener I see that they changed the formatting completely, hence any comparison is pretty much void now.

The main difference of Crypti is that it's actually a platform oriented at business and merchant space, enabling developers to launch new products and services on top of it using custom block-chains. The real-life validations and ratings system will be for example, implemented on top of a custom chain.

How many coins will be issued?

NXT (or Qora for the matter) do not support custom-blockchains on top of the main one. You can create smart properties and assets, but they all will be working under same basic NXT protocol rules.

In case of Crypti, a developer will be able to launch a new blockchain, which while connected to main chain, could contain it's unique processing rules and capabilities.

All details to be announced next week.

While nxt AE is cool, we will go the standard way and do the distribution with regular / escrow BTC wallets, and spread Crypti to shareholders according to their % and date of investment.

Is there any limit on investment for shareholders, e.g. for EXO, everyone just can invest 0.05--1.5BTC

Currently we don't plan to do it, as these kinds of limits are easily bypassed by multiple accounts anyhow.
