Ok starting right off the shipping package. No worries about damage from me!!! Now getting to the good stuff first the cables and included power supply. http://imgur.com/OQU1urd Finally we get to the miner itself its surprisingly small. Ok so far the install is very user unfriendly. I am not shocked but i am about to run for my windows machine. fyi for those that know linux it maybe easy sadly for me its not. here is the error i am stuck on. ./ZEUSMINER [2014-06-03 00:34:32] Started cgminer 3.1.1 [2014-06-03 00:34:32] All devices disabled, cannot mine! Apparently the error i couldn't overcome was some sort of a usb issue as i needed special software even in windows to get it going.
I must say the speed after about 5 minutes is super disappointing as i am getting only 74kh. So anybody who has had luck setting this up better than me please chime in Steve Edit adding for fairness sake 10 minutes in it speeded up to 995kh/s so its better but still not at the 1.2 as per spec. With no tweaking as of yet i mined for 24 hours on ipominer.com My hashrate varied from 1131 to 1297 but its fairly steady right at 1210.
Some other users on litecoin talk was worried about the included power supply brick. Mine isn't hot to touch at all and the miner really feels like it doesn't even need a fan.
