Title: Antminer S1 Hash rate 90?
Post by: Cubano on June 03, 2014, 07:13:28 AM
Hello I recently purchased  4 Antminer S1's 3 were made 2014/1/4 and one was made 2013/12/16. 3/4 Are running just fine except the 2013 it seem's to be hashing around 90 to 125 gh tops firmware is up to date stock 350 mhz and I have 2 running on each Corsair RM850.

My first question is are there any differences between the 2013 and 2014? It seems to be missing a few thing's but I could be wrong.

My 2nd question is if there isn't anything missing any idea what could cause the loss in hash rate?

I see a lack of caps  just not sure if they are missing or if the board was redesigned.  If they are missing it could affect the hash.
I do see the single cap has a higher value then the double caps do.

you could try changing the freq and the hash rate  what is the frequency set to?

could you screen shot the gui?

look at this one

I did a reboot on all 4 miners it did go up a bit but still not hashing like the rest. I don't know if I want to oc that one if there is something wrong with it. The first time I started it up hw went to 700 in 5 mins a reboot.

try 325 clock for a day.

  see what you get.

then try 375 clock for a hour or 2  see what you get.

 check it a lot

I had one that was a bit weird   eventually I found it ran well at 375 freq.

I had another that likes 387.

I had 20 that all like 393.

Can't hurt to play with the freq as long as you look at them alot when testing
