Post by: Uniphase21 on June 03, 2014, 02:13:59 PM
Is there a post with some clear information on the pros and cons on each of these? Thanks for the help. Been searching for a few days and having trouble locating clear and concise data on this.

Basically, Scrypt-N has an adaptive N factor, which changes periodically. ASICs can only be designed for one N factor, which means that once the N factor changes, the ASIC is useless.
