Title: SPORTSBOOK BOOK
Post by: hashking on February 14, 2012, 06:15:55 PM
I'm an NBA fanatic and thought it would be cool to run a small NBA Sports Book on this forum.  I'm only offering NBA Games.  You can either take the points or the over/under.  The max bet you can make is 10 BTC, there is no minimum.  We offer the best payouts on your bets.  For instance a 10 BTC bet will get you 9.70 in winnings + your initial bet.  The majority of sports books only pay 9 BTC.  Submit your wager through pm with your bet type, team and payment address.  Then send your bet to 14tnddgd698nHWF6F5xYjrkP7xYMKavErw.  Winnings sent out after all games are concluded.

Do point out that you are doing this from outside the USA, where it is legal for others from outside the USA to wager on such things.

"Online gambling, which was once illegal in all but two states, is now accepted by most states, though some states have specific laws against online gambling of any kind."

Which states were they referring to?

Indeed, some states have stopped enforcing it, but the Feds still have a big hard-on for online gambling. And since it is pretty damn hard to do online gaming without crossing interstate lines, you are pretty much at the Feds mercy on this issue. Unless you are only dealing with gaming through a licensed business in your own state, that only uses online resources in your own state, and none of your data leaves the border of that state... you MIGHT be okay, if all taxes are paid, earnings reported on all sides, and nobody has ever jaywalked.

Otherwise, you would be well advised to add disclaimers that you are not offering the service to Americans in America. I'm just sayin'...
