I have taken over this coin, I moved source to my GiHub. Placebo gave me access to website.

Wallet was updated! Checkpoints were added in response to 51% attack that occurred some time ago. You should update to new wallet if you don't want to risk being on wrong chain.

I will do full coin audit and see if POS part needs fix. Everything looks good now.

You mean the number of coins? I did a check on coinmarketcap and you have plenty of coins with more coins ,and plenty of coins with a lot bigger cap, so i don't understand 'Just a shitload of coins '. Less coins doesn't mean bigger marketcap, it just means more sats price.

lol first time I've ever seen a "wallet update" be the exact same download/client number as the last one.... seems like something "sugar pill" would do to me.

This coin would have been hugely successful if it had an honest dev from the start that didn't trick a shwack load of people into selling him their coins at 1 or 2 sato's that they had mined/bought over the last couple weeks. lol even if he was smart enough to keep his mouth shut after his lil scam and just walked away with his 100 mill + coins we would have worked extremely hard at pushing this coin, been a success and he would have made himself a sh!t load.

I might even have started supporting ctz again if I believed for a second that it was a new dev that had taken over. but if he was too cheap to buy his own coins at 3-4 satos and decided to slap all the supporters of ctz in the face with his lil scam... then I highly doubt he'd give up enough btc/ctz to hire a real dev.

besides notice with almost everyother coin takeover the OG dev is named after the coin, then when real devs take over it's someone you can look into or have seen around before like batsta or meastro... lol for the first time I've ever noticed we have the opposite.

 The moment I believe sugar pill doesn't have any control or anything to do with this coin is when I'd start showing some support and do some trading. lol and some anon dev claiming not to be him isn't going to cut it for me.

 most of us got into crypto's because we are sick of the corrupt banking system... not to sink to their level and become just as sleazy as the bankers and politicians are.

Can you please explain 100mil + coins at 1 or 2 sats? When i look at the history then there were never 100 mill + coins being sold, are you spreading FUD to buy some cheap coins yourself? When i check it correctly then it seems that there was only a volume of 60mil, and i'm pretty sure that those 60mil were not bought by him alone and that other people bought some too.

100 mill was the number he bragged about I wouldn't doubt it if he was exaggerating... nobody would have had a problem with him buying it if it wasn't his fault the price was at 1-2 in the first place.
 You don't say your the dev through the whole launch and pow then pretend to "quit" right before the end of pow when the price was getting ready to take off and all the miners who had spent their time and money mining the coin were finally going to start seeing reward.

Some communication can go a long way... Just simple daily updates will help bring confidence back to this coin.

I mean you may tried to update your older wallet with newer version from the link from post post & mistakenly deleted all your appdata including wallet.dat. In that case you'll loose all your balance & old address.If that the case go to your recycle bin & restore wallet.dat & delete the new wallet.dat file.You'll get your coins back.

If he wanted out without hurting his coin he could have easily done it with out just abruptly quiting which he knew would crash the price so he could buy it up.

Yes it is. Dev said he is working on new wallet that shows correct time till you get a stake.  But staking does work just remember your coins have to be at least 5 days old (sat in your wallet with it closed or locked for 5 days) before you will start getting rewards.

It doesn't have to be 5 days, 1 day is enough. But older the coins are, the bigger is chance to generate stake.

I'm still waiting for a stake, just shy of 400k coins in wallet now for over 4 days, with no stake yet, with the latest client saying now over 136.5k weight.

Have you had your wallet closed for those 4 days? I'm no expert but I "think" your wallet needs to be closed or locked for the coins to gain age.

Ya that must be it.  The coins have to be 5 days old to stake.  I remember I didn't get any staked coins till my coins were older then that.

No, minimal coin age required for stake is 1 day.

You need to have wallet unlocked (or not encrypted) to generate stake. You don't need to have wallet closed, in fact having wallet open is better.

That is not working for me at all... I've been mining this coin since day 1...have tons of them, always with the wallet on and ''0'' Stake so far....weight 5790021  time to ear reward ''0'' so there is clearly an issue here. I have posted before and no replies....

I suggest you encrypt your wallet and close it then open it up and unlock it for minting maybe that would help.  I don't know much about staking but I do know my few million CTZ have been staking and earning me interest ever since I left it sit locked for 5 days.

Well my ther POS coins are staking fine, other than ratcoin, which is another one that it seems it's possibly maturity issue on those. Pure often has 2-5 stakes confirming at once all the time, TEK staking fine, etc, and wallets are unlocked/unencrypted.

Yea i dont think you have to worry about Placebo anymore. I constantly see Placebo make appearances on other threads (primarily cheap coins that havn't been pumped yet), hyping and waiting for a pump so he can dump and make a a quick profit. Don't we call that promotion? Everybody is doing this. Talking crazy about a coin when you own it, then sell your coins and move on. Good point. It's a dirty game. However it's different if you try to hype up a price when you know you're true intention is dump immediately, rather than buying up and hyping at the same time. Like when he hyped up the citizen website that was to be completed in a few days, but all they did was buy a domain name and put citizencoin coming soon on the front page...price went up to 20 sats, he kept hyping that it was a matter of time till everything gets developed and the same day there was a massive dump to 7sats. For what it's worth, I don't think the new dev here is placebo. They have similar connection hours, and they both make English mistakes, but that doesn't prove anything. And there are indications in the writing that they are not the same person (or he surely knows how to change personalities).

Anyone who is in this thread must have some citizencoins around (I surely have). So let's try to be constructive, or just leave. I'm a developer, but I don't have much time to spare, unfortunately. As some of you might know, Citizencoin code is based on Badgercoin and that's why there are problems with staking. I tried changing code base to Libertycoin, it works little bit better, but I'm still not satisfied, I wan't flawlessly working coin.

1.Wallet is staking but for some reason it takes 23,000 blocks to pass to get a stake even if the green arrow is on and it says whatever. 23,000 blocks is like 4 to 5 days not 1 day min age. Until this is fixed we need to hold our coin and get affective stakes and let it split up until we have a good follow of stakes. With the amount of coin 23,000 blocks should move faster. Their are 58 active connections to the network so we can do this.
2. Dedicated pool has CTZ is helping out by supporting the block-chain with your Hash to help secure system till things are working you can also help here http://ctz.v2.dedicatedpool.com/
3. CTZ is #18 Rising above HTML and now fighting for 17 against BLZ. With 58 active connection we can all vote in order to open a new market and lessen the rest so it wont look so intimidating for new comers

Whats the future plan for this coin dev?

Looks like the block explorer (the one that works http://ctzchain.ultragames.cz:2750/chain/Citizencoin ) is not syncing anymore (forked?). The last transaction seen is 2014-06-19 12:02:33 and the last block is 128831.
As for my wallet, it doesn't sync anymore, stuck at 129037 and says there are 136284 blocks total and counting. I guess I'm on a wrong fork (or maybe not).
Dev, any comment? It was working flawlessly until yesterday.

that’s what I have in my .conf this will stop you from going further off in the other fork you may have to open and close wallet 300 time to get it to sync but it will get their. Once in sync wallet may sometimes aper out of sync once you have reached the official block but its not until we pass other fork I guess it will aper like that for a while. after download put in you backed-up wallet.dat in its place after sync, @ first your might not see the correct amount in wallet but don’t worry just go to your wallet debug screen and type in " repairwallet " then enter, this will fix and replace all of your coin but coins that where obtained staking on other fork will be lost but it doesn’t matter because as soon as you unlock your wallet on the correct blockchain stake starts immediately and you get back any interest back In a single super amount.

Its true even after New or fake DEV Updated staking problems continue taking to long to stake and the bottom of the wallet is still broken too. Also you can send money even if wallet unlocked only for staking.
23000 block's ? if cant fix just change the min stake 2 10 days or 15 and change the bottom green arrow and expected time to earn reward. Pls remove connect=http://ctzchain.ultragames.cz for conf and any other thing. You will get your stakes youse my boot strap if you need to download the righ chain one bootstrap is install it will show as bootstrap.dat.old you can leave it in their and if you need to download chain again just erase all in the folder and just remae it by removing the .old part and you can reuse it .

after wallet is in sync go to HELP=>DEBUG WINDOW=>CONSOLE and type in repairwallet. If true then close and open wallet again.
