Did you ever get the BTC? From what I've seen, trashymonkey is a scammer.

I noticed that myself too and I was a bit weary myself however the guy actually refunded me twice. 1st reason was because his 2 factor authenticity for his coinbase wallet wasn't available, his mobile fone wasn't with him. And lastly only a couple of hours ago refunded me because he was in a rush to get to work. I can't label that a scammer, as he didn't actually run off with the funds but the transaction never happened if that clarifies your concerns..

I work with the rate that was sent to my wallet at the time of transaction as quoted on blockchain.info as it never lies and shows the value of BTC at time of transaction. For Paypal it's that price -2%. Sending you PM now..

That looks like a great service but unfortunately I'm located in Australia and from what I've read on the site it works with all US based banks. I suppose credit card will work but the fees associated with using a credit card with that service aren't appealing at all. If there's any other payment method I have listed you're happy to go with I'm happy to help you out otherwise

Seems like a good deal. Why are there different fees for paypal / western union?

Paypal payments can be done from my mobile phone or pc at home whereas western union payments require a lot more work.. Have to go to a place that does western union transfers, fill out forms, produce ID etc.. More work involved hence the slightly higher fee.

Paypal is much more easier and less time consuming than Western Union.Some people just don't prefer Paypal because of the charge back system,still it's one of the best and quickest way to send and receive funds.

I'm gonna leave this alone. It seems exchangers can get away with scamming here because they are considered trusted and wouldn't scam no matter how much proof is given. I can't give more proof than pms and blockchain! I just know karma will get him in the end. I make 300 a week so I lost a one week wage. It hurts but it is a learning lesson. I won't be dealing here anymore. I will stick to localbitcoins where they escrow all deals and all chats are monitored. This site should use a similar system to prevent scams like mine.

I hope he doesn't scam anyone else like he did me. If you are new to him then don't use him. He might scan you and say you are blackmailing him when you give proof! Later!
