Title: Not connected under Ubuntu
Post by: Frodo on April 24, 2011, 07:51:47 PM
Under Ubuntu 10.04 has connections, but Under Ubuntu 10.10 bitcoin client has no connections and start faster. Maybe any firewall block it?

Try:

sudo iptables -L -n

on a shell. It should look like:

Chain INPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination

Chain FORWARD (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination

If you see something else there is a host based firewall up and running.
