I'm currently putting together a mosaic of the bitcoin logo for school.

i should be done by Wednesday.
I still need to add the orange "bitcoin" text and fill the logo orange then grout it with white.
I need to make the bottom part of the BTC thicker
I might still need to fill in small gaps if needed.

but here it is so far.
it looks a bit messy but it's going to be covered up :)
What do you guys think of it?

I'm not sure whether to continue to do the text in orange tile or do it in silver squares.
It looks very um, abstract.

No, I had a choice to do between a sculpture or mosaic.
My art teachers also said that I should do something that I like.

so, I chose to do a mosaic of a bitcoin logo ;D

Don't forget to post a pic of it with the grout. 8)

You have a good piece of art work there I'd like to see it when or if you fill the cracks.

Woow man looks awesome. Rly good work. U should put in some bitcoin address for donations .  I would love to send u something small just for ur effort.

Try to do a mosaic of the QR code of your bitcoin address, it will take days to complete but maybe someone will reward you...  ;D

That would take some LONG time to do. And if i can read it with my phone i would defiantly reward that :D .

That would be something, never heard of a working mosiac QR code
I know that you can get them in large corn gardens to work though

you can do some research on bitcointalk ... and why not transform bitcointalk into a mosaic ???

To actually be readable , im not even sure its doable . But would be rly awesome if somebody can do it :) .

Sorry for not posting the final product, but I think I properly messed it up :-\ :'(.

The grout took off some of the orange tile paint and it made the "BTC" dissolve, it's hard to see now.

However, I got it marked and I received 88% or an A (However your system works)

There's going to be a final marking on wednesday next week, I'm going to try and touch it up to see if I
can improve it.
Then I should post a picture.

Did you use a sand type grout? That could be why it etched away the orange. Hope to see a picture soon, oh and 88% is a B+ grade :P

Yes I did, but I had used it when it was still very runny, I just left it there to dry and it set.

I used tile.
