Title: Podcasts
Post by: Pushtheghost on June 09, 2014, 03:09:29 AM
Can any of you list some good Bitcoin or Altcoin podcast guys to listen to?
So much to learn and I have tons of time to kill during the week.

So far I am going to start with David Seaman and hopefully find others through that.

Suggestions? :)

There are plenty of Bitcoin documentaries that you can take the audio from, I'll try and PM you a few.

Can you please respond here as well, so we can all check them out?
Thanks.

So I grabbed a few of David Seamans podcasts, the one that where bitcoin related and decided to check out "Coinsider This" podcast.
Took all 35 episodes and will give a review Monday when I get home.

My favorite is "Let's Talk Bitcoin". It is fairly technical, but there are other related podcasts on the LTB network, such as "Bitcoins and Gravy", that are less technical.

Will check that one out as well.

Enjoying the "Coinsider This" podcast since it is almost documenting the fall of Mt.Gox,which I missed.
Kind of interesting hearing the issues from a year ago and comparing it to today. Listened to 4 episodes so far and think he
gets a little better with each one. Has alerted me to websites I did not know of as well.

Have not listened to Seaman yet, since I have listened to him on Joe Rogan and found him to be hard to listen to at times.

a lot of people seem to like the keiser report, with max keiser. try that one out? he seems kind of like an entertainer though.. he acts a bit kooky, and it might be just for theatrics.

I enjoy Stefan Molyneux podcasts on bitcoin & on the economy. The beauty of his podcasts are the rabbit hole they take you down. The last one I listened to was, "The Dangers of Dating Single Moms." It comes across as misogynistic, but you can not deny the truths contained therein. His voice is soothing, but he tends to eat and drink a bit during the podcasts, so you will have to endure a bit of lip smacking. Freedomainradio.com and his youtube channel are good sources of info. Enjoy your leisure!

Epicenter - more sober, looks at things taking an integrated economic/tech perspective - European international perspective
Lets Talk Bitcoin (LTB) - the classic, sometimes rather technical and utopianist (AA is one of the hosts) - more of a US perspective
Coinsider This! - do not know to much about it, listened to one, seems a bit easier to digest than LTB
Bitcoinupdate (german podcast) - covers a lot of news, interesting if you are interested in Austria ;)
theBTClawyer.com - some podcasts on regulation, silkroad, ...
singularityweblog - if you want to get it touch with some edgy SF stuff
aroundthecoin - focus is on payment systems not Bitcoin as such - provides you with contextual knowledge of "legacy" systems

I have not listened in to any of the LTB daughter podcasts. I think they have a bit of a community/fun focus. But rather US centric
Hope that helps!
