Central Bankers Argue Digital Currency Requires Institutional Control

Bitcoin was created to shut down central banks.
Now central banks want a piece of Bitcoin.

Of course they think that, the protocol cuts them and their fellow parasites out of the equation. Starve the beast!

Who cares what they think about the digital / crypto currency? Whatever noise they make, people would still use them, and they won't be able to do anything. What a bunch of absolute losers?

Even the banker acknowledged the new technology has tremendous advantage. If they don't react to the revolution, they will doom to die.

The sooner the better. This proclamation shows how far they have slipped from reality.

I think the opposite is true, Central Bankers need to be controlled.

Did you know that their currency is used for buying drugs and kiddie porn? I really think we should avoid it.

Bitcoin needs to be controlled by institutions that are now obsolete because of it? Makes perfect sense!  :D

Haldane and Qvigstad dismiss the notion that decentralized digital currencies will mark the end of central banking, calling such a viewpoint “overly pessimistic”.

Comparing the introduction of digital currencies to the ascent of gold for use in banking, the authors say that central banks worldwide could adopt bitcoin-like technologies. Such a move, the report states, would constitute “a next evolutionary step in money issuance”.

The IMF/UN might issue a One World global currency since it is supposedly what the elite want.

I certainly do not agree that Bitcoin should be controlled by central banks. However there will need to be somewhat of centralization once any serious amount of lending/borrowing starts taking place. I am not talking about the small payday loan type loans found in the lending section, but loans that people with good credit/income would take out.
