Title: Implementing Bitmessage
Post by: SebastianJu on June 10, 2014, 01:23:58 PM
For a bitcoin forum it might make sense not only to offer skype, MSN (Anyway dead) and other contact addresses but a Bitmessage Address would make sense to be implemented. I tested the software some time now and it works without problems so far.

You can use the "Other contact info" field in your profile, like I do.

Yes, the "Other contact info" field was added by Theymos after a similar request about Bitmessage.

For it to have it's own field, I don't think it's popular enough.

Good idea, but for now,
You can use the "Other contact info" field in your profile, like I do.

Thanks for the tip. Didnt see that field before. Downside is that its not seeable without going into the profile... MSN, AIM and so on are shown directly under the name at each post.

Maybe with the new forum software that this subforum points to. Didnt think theymos finally would move on this point.

lol no. bitmessage is impractical for just about every use other than novelty.

So? I use it without problems. What problems do you see?
