Title: Just reached Member status, what's my sig worth?
Post by: commandrix on June 10, 2014, 03:15:24 PM
Hi guys--

I just somehow managed to blast myself out of "Junior Member" status and I can now take proposals for the signature. I'll browse a few of the posts here but if you really, really, really want me to put your text ad in my signature, reply here with your details and I'll pick somebody who has a positive trust rating, is reliable about paying out, and has a decent payment structure.

I would just make it comparable with primedice`s signature rates?

Probably .0004 per post, that is probably as good as it gets.

That is still very, very good tbh.

Is there any reason why sites don't want to accept people of 'Newbie' status? I mean, I'm slowly getting away from it, but I don't see how people's posts are suddenly worth more when they hit an arbitrary threshold.

because newbie account can't put link in their signature
and very limited characters available

Also I think because it's too easy to create new accounts then flip them in digital goods.

Maybe it's because the higher ranking members can create splashier and more noticeable signatures. (And the link thing.)

The best program for you IMO is either PD or LuckyBit.

PD: 0.0004 per constructive post, 50 posts minimum a month, cap 2.4 btc a month (you can't reach it lol)

LB: 0.05 a month, if you have made at least 50 constructive posts.

Oh I see! thank you, I wasn't aware about the signature rules for Newbies... that does make sense now though

When you get to a higher member rank, you can make your signature looks better with bigger font size, font color and background color.
This should bring more attention to your sig, and bring more traffic to the advertised site.

Just choose one from the signature overview thread above. It has a nice table so you can easily see how much all the deals offer for your membergroup.

They don't seem to be scammers so good choice :) just don't spam the forums or it will get you banned, try to be as constructive as possible.

Well it seems you're wrong seeing as the operator of that deal is still confirming people:

Noted; I'll try to be productive here (and if I don't have anything to say, I just won't post).

I'm pretty sure someone with a lot of spare time could reach the maximum cap. :)

Probably. I'm sure there are people who just keep a window open to this forum in the hope of picking up jobs.

Also I think because it's too easy to create new accounts then flip them in digital goods.

Newbies are worthless more or less because they can't even have links in their signatures. But I doubt it's "easy" -- gotta be pretty time-consuming and tedious to churn out Member accounts, because that would take 2 months to achieve.

read the 50 diff sig ag campaints and you will see :)
primedice is the most reliable... as can be see below lol

the interesting part about taking part in these ads things ( I was hero member when i started revently) is as you post your status goes uo so your sig is woth more and more.

Primedice isn't the most payed signature campaign but is the most reliable.
In a world of scammers, trust is like a diamond and stunna has alot of them!

Silly question, but how do I get promoted from 'Junior Member' to full member? I'm posting fairly regularly but my activity isn't moving.

Read over this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=495948.0

You can only get a max of 14 activity points in each two week period. The latest period started the Tuesday past. Next one will start on the 24th of June and you can get another 14 points then.

I would suggest Primedice as well they are the longest run signature campain and the most stable :)
