They have a forced air cooler on them that really performs like crap. however, the diamond and XFX older 5770s only have connections on one slot while the hsf takes two slots. With an h20 or other system or custom cooling you can run a system like this.
I cant remember who, but one of the forum members bought 6 of these cards a while back, 4 of them now are in RMA. So be careful with the new xfx 5770s That xfx in the photo is a dual slot due to the fan. The bracket is one slot, but the card takes 2, and if you stick two next to each other, you will have cooling issues. If that's all you need, you could buy any card that has a full-length opening in the second slot, and replace the stock bracket with one from a watercooling parts shop such as DangerDen.
