Has this been done before? These guys are taking a stab at it: http://genercoin.io/ (http://genercoin.io/) The concept of DeKo as a unit of work is pretty intriguing. How about other commodities? The original green coin. Started eco-movement 3 months ago. New technology to make coin most efficient out there specified and coming in a few months. Currency is currently minable but not for long.
