Title: Looking for a place to mine
Post by: venom2049 on June 11, 2014, 05:47:37 PM
Hey Miners,
Im currently looking for a warehouse or garage or anywhere where I can set my miners, I currently have a place but with a very bad ventilation system that is causing my computers to work in a hot ambient. So Im looking at other options, Im located in Maryland so if you know anybody that is renting or already have a place for bitcoin equipment please hit me up I would really appreciate the help.

 what do you have mining?

 I am in New Jersey.

My garage has some power to spare.   It is attached to my home I could spare some watts.

If you have that much equipment, you're probably better off at a Co-lo:

You should state how much KW you're pulling and whether or not your stuck is rack mountable.

Yeah...pretty doubtful your going to find anybody capable of supporting that much spare juice available in a residence.  Data Center more than likely the ticket your looking for.

who else is with https://www.genesis-mining.com ? Those prices seem very fantastic!  ;D
What sort of profit would you be looking at after the 1year subscription on the 10 M/hs buy?

I purchased a 2 Mh/s contract one month ago, everything is fine so far. Two more months and break even should be reached :D The autotrader is a killer feature.

I am not with them but currently looking to go with them but still in a 50/50 to do it or not considering the prices are good but at the same time would be less risky to buy the equipment and mine yourself.

If you're willing to cover the power consumption, I've got some available rack space in our company's office datacenter.

We are in Northern NJ, and recently completed a move of most of our main production applications and infrastructure out to a hosted facility.  So, we've got a lot of extra space and A/C now available in the building.  I've recently started mining for ourselves and my company there.  Our lease is good through 12/15 so no immediate worries about having to vacate.

At 12kW you'd be looking at anywhere from $400 - $900/month for the power, plus a small bit more for cooling overhead.  I'd have to check what our electrical rate is before saying for sure.

How is that related to OP's problem? I bet you have just read the thread title before making the post...
