Title: Is this Normal???
Post by: wbmillerkc on June 12, 2014, 03:25:10 AM
Hey all

I just have a small group of 4 antminer S1's I just got up and running halfway. There is a green LED on each PCB board on the side that I'm told is an indicater if the ant is mining. Mine stay lit for the most part, on 1 ant it stay lit almost all of the time, on the other 3 ants the LED stay lit most of the time, but occasionally "takes a break" and goes out. Is this normal? 1 ant that stays lit all the time is on a 750w corsair, 2 ants share a 850w corsair, 1 other ant on a separate 750w corsair.

This is my first experience with ASICs, so I don't know if this is normal or not.

what do you see on the status page when you log into the web gui?  What does your pool report as far as hash rate of your Antminers goes?  You can use the Antminer Monitor developed by mdude7 to get a view of all of your antminers.  All the above matter much more that which LED is flashing. (on my Ants, the green LED on the ASIC boards are all flashing very rapidly).
