Of the games you have listed, definitely had the most fun playing Counter-Strike in its very early beta versions.

Also had some epic Age of Empires 2 games at a local internet cafe  ;D

I was addicted in playing counter strike during my teenage years. Me and my classmates usually cut classes and play counter strike with other school. The competition is really fierce we even bet money. Usually we played 15 to 15 or 20 to 20 depending of the capacity of the internet cafe.

I love being the sniper. I even use a sniper even the enemy is very near and use it without using the scope. I will kill some newbies with knife only.

My vote would go to Counter Strike. It is the only multi-player game, which I have played (I am more of a single-player gamer, and most of all, I have lost my interest for gaming lately).

I remember 6 years ago. My best friends would come over my place every Friday night, and we would play Call Of Duty 4 all night. It was so damn fun. The memories lie with me. But sadly. They either moved, or married. I still turn on my old PS3, and play Call Of Duty 4 just to relive the good old days.

Well we will se which game will won ...

Battlefield Bad Co 2. My favorite online shooter by far, everything was perfect, every class was fun, sniping was fun and challenging, everything just felt so right.
Really awesome game.

If I could only pick one game it would definitely have to be Modern Warfare 2. The key here is that when I played it was almost always with the same group of 6 which made the game exponentially more fun.

Counter Strike 1.6
I don't play much games now but CS is my all time favourite. Had a lot of fun playing different mods of CS for many years, learned many new things and met a lot of good people on CS servers.

Vote goes for Counter Strike: Source. Never has there been such a great and fair online shooter. It was the first game I got into and it turned me into an online gamer.

For fun, Halo 3 Custom games, spent well over 500Hrs logged in a total of over 3000K custom game matches, and 20 matchmaking. For competition, Battlefield 3 on PC its large scale settings, game play controls and design just made me enjoy it 10 fold as opposed to CoD which finally frustrated me.

It's hard to play, but even on arcade the game is awesome.

League of Legends is so popular here where I live. I guess people play it for a reason. It seems like a fun game to be honest.

Eve is TOP of the MP expirience.
After Eve even BF batles with tanks and planes and all that feel kinda small.

I've played many multiplayer game, I think the most fun for me was Counter-Strike.

I almost forgot the amount of hours and days playing Street fighter 2 in the arcade and on the Snes must of my college time and university. Classic!

I played WoW for about 2 months. Got a max level character playing semi casually. First time through the game was pretty fun. Not something I care to repeat but for the time it was pretty good.

A lot of people really enjoyed that game so I'm not surprised tbh. The end game doesn't interest me with the amount of commitment it takes, but as a casual game it was designed pretty well.

What wow did you play? WoW went to s*it after TBC, well wotlk. It's just too easy and stupid.

I am surprised no one said DOTA 2 is the best. I am sure you agree that this is hilarious game. Dota2 soon will have the biggest e-sport tournament ever. You can't go wrong with prize pool of 10 million dollars.

I like COD, Battlefield and League of Legends. It really depends on my mood which (kind of) game I prefer, I used to play GTA San Andreas Multiplayer ("SAMP") quite often too.

Many years ago I was into Counter Strike too, but its graphics made me switch to other games.

I think Lineage 2 was the game that made me stay up late with friends killing raid bosses. Definitely the best MMO I've played.

BF3 is definitely a fun FPS.  Better than BF4 actually, because BF3 focuses more on teamplay, whereas BF4 is more stunts and solo play... :-/

DOTA2 is the best multiplayer game

I'd say that's it's League for me. I've spend hour playing it. But I stoped a while ago.

I recently bought Just Cause 2 at a Steam sale for only €3,-.

There's a free Multiplayer Mod available for this game on Steam too, which makes it a great multiplayer game in my opinion! I really like it, if you've got some spare time and want to relax your mind, you really should play this game ;).

The zombie game from Black Ops 1 is a classic, co-op wise I like L4D2 and Payday 2. Maybe one day they'll make L4D3  :'(

I really want to hear an answer on that question too! I was going to buy the game from a website which sells Steam codes for BTC, like for example at SteamGamesBTC (http://steamgamesbtc.com/) or SteamBitShop (https://steambitshop.com/). SteamGamesBTC currently offers Call of Duty 4 for just 0,022 BTC (http://steamgamesbtc.com/index.php?page=item&id=9), but I really want to know whether the Multiplayer is still active. I don't want such games for just the singleplayer.

Currently Steam has a Summer Sale. I hope to see some nice Multiplayer FPS games over there, SteamBitShop does also discount the games which are on sale @ Steam.

It's still pretty popular on this server. I played it for a little while recently. It does feel really old at first but you can kind of get used to it again if you played back in the 90s like I did. I still have lots of fond memories so it was nice to give it another go.

Wow.  Not one person yet has played Guild Wars.  While not the same numbers as WoW the players are probably a lot more committed in general.

I've played Wow for like 5 years got to like 2400+ rating in arena, it was the game ive continued to enjoy the longest time.
After Wow got a bit boring before Cataclysm, I moved over to League of Legends wich I played for like 2 years.
It got boring pretty quick tho, at the moment I play Csgo and I like this game the most for the moment.
But when I got to Master guardian 2 Promoting got alot harder, so im kinda bored with this to now.

I played Neverwinter, wow and LOL and I think the best out of that is Neverwinter and it's been out not very long. WOW got very boring.

Counter strike since 1.5 lol but then I stopped. Don't know why Lol is so low on votes, it's a really great game. (it's probably the only game I play from time to time now. Funny and does not require a lot of time from you to get things going)

I didn't enjoy DOTA2. It reminded me of older games and I enjoyed the first few hours but gameplay got boring and repetitive.

Well it's tough to decide, but i'm more of a BF guy

however i think BF4 jumped the gun with being released, it still has problems

but there's always BF3.

It is funny how previous game is a lot better than its sequel. It is funny and sad at the same time. BF3 was not perfect but it is still so better than Bf4 even after a year of patching.

I don't understand how they managed to fuck it up so badly if they actually cared about the series, which basically screams to me that they don't actually give a shit because they continue to post up their community updates like games developers do and act as if they're in complete denial.

Thats why I'm avoiding hyped games.
They only improved a few things, messed around with other things and there are things that even didn't got changed(like the heli model and texture).

BlackOps 2 is pretty sweet though I prefer co-op games like L4D2 and 7daystodie, more zombies to kill the better ;)

I can't even play BF3 anymore now because in the most recent update they screwed up the punkbuster processes so it'll be several months of them being in denial before it ever gets fixed yet again.

After they gave for free BF3, they probbaly made their support to it to almost zero.
I wouldn't expect a fix in anything.

Plus it's older than BF4. They'd probably want to focus their attention on their latest title in the series.

Tell me more how playing the same map onyl with different heroes isn't repetitive.
On CS1.6 at least there were tons of maps to be played, official and community ones.
