Ha! I don't have any superstition with Friday 13th - a few of my friends bemoan anything remotely bad that happens on the day, putting it down to the day rather than their own lack of planning, or simply regular bad luck.

We should celebrate the day, after all it is on a Friday! ;)

I suppose I'm a bit odd, because I would totally get a kick out of being where you are on this day. I've always thought Friday the 13th's were fun. But I also like black cats, stepping on cracks and walking under ladders. Happy Friday the 13th, everyone. Go spill some salt on a black cat, or something.

Some Chinese consider 14 a bad number too, since it sounds like death. As a result, some buildings in Hong Kong (with its western influences mixed with eastern) it will go from floor 12 to floor 15. It's whack.

People with superstitions like friday 13th,black cat ,etc..are good at finding various excuses for doing and not doing things. If things don’t work out for them, they will have excuses handy. They easily imagine magical effects and sometimes even modify or cancel a superstition.

I was just telling my kids on vacation about why our hotel doesn't have a 13th floor and preceded to tell them it's stupid!

Cant be me, they were all alive when i went to bed, then when i work up everyone was dead, so must has been someone else.
