You can also agree on a price using an intermediate currency, typically USD. By the way, I think it would be useful to have a tool to quickly convert between BTC and any arbitrary currency, using an intermediate one if necessary. JPY represents about 9.4% of the SDR's value, so you could get a rough approximation (barring dramatic changes in the yen's value) from something like
1 SDR=1.10375*(0.66*BTC/USD+0.423*(BTC/EUR)+0.111*(BTC/GBP)) which would give 1 SDR=0.9869 BTC (from 1 BTC=USD 1.574 (last 24h), 1 BTC=EUR 1.30 (last 24h), and 1 BTC=GBP 0.7428 (last 7d)) or 1 BTC=1.013 SDR.
