I just made a deposit to Bittrex with new coins, it took about 10 minutes for deposit to show.

Maybe need to generate new deposit address with them if you haven't already?

I am sure Fdt could speak to this better but I believe we are on a new block chain after the x11 switch and the scrypt blockchain ended a little after block 120,000.

Yeah it was not instamined. It's actually a new thread for the coin, that was gone long ago.

Forexoin was ported to X11 after block 120,000th. I have checked code again its working fine :)

Hi folks, we got tip bot running in #forexcoin IRC channel :) Giveaway day - Friday.

Today volume so far 140 LTC and growing.

Total work in progress, will improve based on suggestions besides just Ug  :P
Working on modeling a Forexcoin, draft stage, metal is too shiny coin still hard to read.
Center of coin has Latin F & coin is identical on both sides.
Ideally I will be able to get a clean render readable at small scale.
Will remove that depth of field blur effect with later renders but I thought it helped convey scale.

Hi, Forexcoin.

Once I saw a picture of your logo, it looks too shiny and did not focus on writing coinnya name "F" that looks like the letter "X" on the other side. I like the simple design but clear. It was the opinion of me, maybe others have another opinion. Good luck with the new logo.

Yeah good points some of the details that would make this a good physical coin like the "f" that is mirrored front and back with a void center might not translate well onto a 2d logo.

How does the community feel about the Latin "F" in general ?

I could always add text, to help spell out what the coin is at a glance.

Latin F is cool. Current version looks kinda giant :) Maybe change color to gold. Imagine marble columns, sun, wine and Forexcoin :)

Went through a couple rounds of readability improvements. Still open to changes but lets work on color first.

I have been deep in the mines, lets pick a metal to forge this coin with.

I personally like E & G but let's find out what the group think is.

At the moment its seems to be possible to buy some Forexcoins at pretty interesting price say 60,000,000 of all coins for 75 usd or so. Once those few orders are sold price might rise.

How about golden rim with ruby inside and golden F? Also someone gave an interesting idea to look at how Fedex logo is done.

you must forgive me. I read posts on your links, but because of the fact that my perevodchik translates badly, I did not understand what I should do with my old coins (the script).
1. Be exchanged for X11? (how?)
2. Sell? (how?)
3. Throw it out?

The thing is that my wallet (script) is not updated longer threshold stayed 2 weeks". I.e. my coins are in a purse (the script) but there's nothing I can do with them because purse was not synchronized with the network.

How can I solve this issue? Thank you.

Hi Vanessa. i am going to update thread with conf file however if you using windows or osx wallet should automatically as main dns seed node is hard coded. Open your debug.log file, paste context to pastebin and post link here - then its possible to see whats up :)

In Windows simply remove - and use option you like by adding it to forexcoin.conf file. In Linux you can start QT for example as forexcoind -daemon -option1 -option2.

We have received a number of questions about trading Forexcoin on BTC market. We are on BTC market on c-cex, allcoins and 1 more exchange. Bittrex BTC market can potentially be re-enabled when price is a bit higher :) If you have more questions, ideas about exchanges kindly post them here or pm. Many forexcoiners are also on IRC sometimes.

That doesn't help me because you have the wallet and i can't open it anymore because the old scrypt wallet doesn't sync.

People who had coin in QT outside exchanges had plenty of notice given via this forum and twitter. Those who sent before late late swap date got it. Now we decided to do 1 more swap this one will be discretionary which means if person had some valid reason as to why he skipped all previous opportunities to swap its more likely to be processed.

C Cex no longer trading FRX?

Cheers folks. As to exchanges. I think its even good that soon forexcoin is going to be listed primarily on one cool exchange both on BTC and LTC markets. And if folks are active we can get listed on some Chinese exchange too. Been listen on the one exchange max two exchanges will allow buyers and sellers to trade with ease.

Not sure if Bittrex forgot they have a Ltc / Frx market but they seem to have disabled the Frx wallet. From what I gather on the site news it's because they removed Btc / Frx trading. Hope they bring it back, Forex is so cheap right now I was going to buy a plethora...

Block explorer is on now. And it works way faster :) As to prices - its about 10 satoshi LTC on average, if you want it higher buy all available coins up to 60 satoshi LCT for 2 weeks and it might go higher, especially if there are some services available for FRX.

Plus having media exposure helps.

I hope this coin really pops off in the future - seems to look promising so far!

Also Forexcoin might be soon accepted as payment at one service provider website. We can promote them to an increasing number of tweeter followers. Even if people  who bought cheap will sell asap higher circulation of coins can provide more exposure.

I think FRX is getting delisted at the end of this month, no way around it. Bittrex wants to get rid of all LTC pairs, guess that's the reason why.

Only quick fix that comes to mind is running Oracle VM VirtualBox emulate windows and Bob's your uncle.

Could not hurt to ask community first, then perhaps bash them a little after, not the other way around.  ::)
