With difficulty 1 a fast ASIC miner will find all the block in no time and all depends on how fast it can push it to the wallet daemon and how fast it can push out to the network. Let's say this coin will have an exchange and will have some real value. Just imagine hundreds of nodes in the network pushing out blocks at a rate of 10-100/s. I think multiple forks will be inevitable at this rate. The question is how you'll be able to decide which node will get less or more coins, if it's not based on hash rate. Each node can submit a limited number of block? Sorry you too, not simple in this jungle to understand who want to troll only and who ask serious questions. No it's not node limits. At first many big Asics (standalone version) don't work in getwork. They work only on stratum protocol. This Asics will not able to mine SevenCoin. Another limit it's with the timewall. No blocks will be accepted before timespan. It means that all nodes have time for sync correctly, malicious people cannot fork the network and it give the opportunity to slow ASICs to find a block. The diff fixed at 1 guarantees only that this last word will true.
