Looks like more than 1300 years. And the premine is 0.07 Sevencoin. So it will take around 190 years to mine 1 Sevencoin Which means the premine is worth 13.3 years of mining. Don't think I'll be mining or trading this one. Who tell that this coin don't have innovations ? Or you want to mean that innovations can be only in the algo ? This coin is pools and big asics resistant, with a fix retarget and a firewall for block the instamining. Never see like this before. Can I ask you what is your job in RL ? Title: Re: [ANN] SevenCoin [Very Rare][SHA256][OLD ASIC][SOLO MINING][NO Pools][BOUNTIES] Post by: mumus on June 15, 2014, 05:38:57 AM Nice joke. :)
If you don't have difficulty re-target then how can you keep the block time on 7 Minutes? With difficulty 1 a fast ASIC miner will find all the block in no time and all depends on how fast it can push it to the wallet daemon and how fast it can push out to the network. Let's say this coin will have an exchange and will have some real value. Just imagine hundreds of nodes in the network pushing out blocks at a rate of 10-100/s. I think multiple forks will be inevitable at this rate. I already told that we have set a special firewall that will reject fast blocks. This feature give a resistant for big asics and for every fork attemps. I'm curious to see the implementation of your vision. Just wasn't clear how you can accomplish to goal of this coin. It sounds like you are trying to introduce another factor to limit the block rate which originally the difficulty re-targeting was designed for. The question is how you'll be able to decide which node will get less or more coins, if it's not based on hash rate. Each node can submit a limited number of block? In this case one can install hundreds of nodes load balancing a big ASIC miner between them. It's true that it's harder but the network still can be exploited by powerful miners. Sorry you too, not simple in this jungle to understand who want to troll only and who ask serious questions. No it's not node limits. At first many big Asics (standalone version) don't work in getwork. They work only on stratum protocol. This Asics will not able to mine SevenCoin. Another limit it's with the timewall. No blocks will be accepted before timespan. It means that all nodes have time for sync correctly, malicious people cannot fork the network and it give the opportunity to slow ASICs to find a block. The diff fixed at 1 guarantees only that this last word will true. BTC not true, I invest in good solid, trustworthy coins and have a range of wallets on my computers. You are feeding on those less knowledgable. I will be pleased to balance the conversation so that people know exactly what they are buying into. a 1% premine is not a good thing, and you should explain what it will be used for, in detail. If the reward per block was 100 times higher also 2-3% was ok, but with a satoshi reward you have in your dumper hands too much control.
