Hello,
I am wandering are the personal messages visible to the moderators? If yes is there a way to moderate the PMs also,this can be a good prevention of scam.

No, mods can't see them unless you report it to one of the global mods or admins. Theymos can see the messages though. And the staff here don't usually act on or try to prevent scams. That's up to the community to police.

May be some persons can hired as security guards for the PM corespondation.
Lot of scam is happening via PM

As far as I know, the PMs can be seen by theymos and global moderators(I may be mistaken and global moderators may only see PMs that have been reported though).
Hence this warning when you send out a new message:

When you receive unsolicited PM, please click the "Report To Admin" button in the bottom right corner, and the account will likely get banned. :)

If people use their wits and insist on using an escrow then you're very unlikely to get scammed. The forum staff can't be expected to police or babysit on such matters. Even if we had people that dealt with scans etc it'd probably be more hassle than it was worth.

No bro, usually in any forum, who can view the PMs is the owner/founder and the admin.

Regarding scam, you could easily open a scam dispute with proofs and everything will be sorted.

Yeah, its always about being smart and not falling for the too good to be true deals. The exchanges really suck balls thou.... its a shame they are mostly the weak point in all of this. 

Staff can't see PMs you send/receive, but when you report a PM, it is visible to the admins and global mods (so they can handle it).

Only theymos can see PMs, but if you report a message than the Moderators can see them. If you want nobody to see it, then encrypt it or use something other than PMs.
