I'm working with 3 more people (friends of mine), and we're looking for ideas to implement for this coin.
Right now, two of us are programming a plugin for different forums (phpBB, SMF, myBB, etc) that will allow users to give WVS as rewards/gifts for useful posts. I believe this will be great and will work if people are interested in the coin. I think I will be able to post some screens of the demo in about a week. About the premine, we will be giving 1000 of those 10000 coins at launch, and more contests are coming. Hi! Yes, I understand what you mean. I think this happens with most coins. Most people mine them and sell them fast, but it's kinda hard to control that... About the diff: although the diff changes every block, it's still minable by little miners. I've done some tests before posting this coin, and with an intel quad core Q9400, I was able to mine almost 300 blocks in 1 hour (maybe a little more). I think this is better than having rewards at the very beginning. For example, if the 50 WVS reward started at block 2, some big miner could instamine those 100 blocks and have 5000 coins. But in this case, it wouldn't matter because he/she wouldn't get anything. And by the block 100, I believe more people will be mining, so there will be more chances for everyone to get those 50 WVS blocks. I guess it has its pros and cons like everything. But we really want to give some minutes so everyone can set up everything before the rewards. --- @polz, the coin is launching tomorrow, that's why the pools aren't working! Try to use dlls from other coins you might have, sometimes that's the problem. I've tested the wallet in a lot a computers (Windows 7 x64) and it was working fine. I think the good bit about dedicated is you only need 1 logon, and it has an interface which looks different (and thus professional) as opposed to the default theme on Supranova. If you want to make Suprnova big, I think just modifying the interface a little, get a nice logo, and if you could workout single signon that would make a huge difference. So Suprnova's Concept is too keep the Frontend clean, simple and easy-to-use without much fancy stuff and have a powerful backend. Agreed, that IS good. But I'd probably still consider a color change, even slightly, anything to differentiate it from pool.mn or any other dodgy pool people setup. Depending on the method used to send out coins it will generate a new address with every single transaction and then dump the remainder in that address. If there is a way to prevent it, hopefully someone with more experience using the console or linux commands to send coins that creates this issue will know the workaround and let the dev know so the address for the premine can remain static. Blocks on pools goes well on NET hashrate 20GH/s. Net suddently goes to 40GH.s and every pool stucks on given block, and they cannot find block on that high hashrate for even 15 minutes.
