Title: Selling 5770
Post by: Herodes on April 26, 2011, 04:27:10 AM
I am selling a used card identical to this:

http://www.hisdigital.com/un/product2-536.shtml

I have the orginal receipts and the reason for selling is that I have upgraded. Card should be working good as I recently used it. If I remember correctly it gave approx 166Mhash/s. I tried to overclock it but never had much luck doing it. Perhaps it will perform better with the phoenix miner?

The card should be working well, but it has accumulated some dust, which I have tried to blow off with high compression air on a can.

Any questions or offers, please send me a message. Technical questions can be answered in this thread, but questions with non-public information should be done on pm.

Most 5770's have no problem overclocking to 960mhz. I get 182 mhash/s with a 5770 at 960mhz running poclbm. I hear phoenix is 5-10% faster, but I haven't tried it yet.

I'm not in the market to buy, but just wanted to share the info. A 5770 is a very good and efficient choice for a starting miner that doesn't want to invest in the much more expensive 5970's.

Thanks for the information. I have gotten some other stronger cards after I decided to remove this card from my computer, and my knowledge of overclocking has increased as well, so I totally get your drift. I used the program that came with the card, I think it was called CCC and I had no luck overclocking with that, but there are other programs like MSI Afterburner and AMD GPU Clock Tool that can be used.

I've gotten some offers, but they were very low. Let me say that any offer under 100 dollar will be rejected. The card is also located in Scandinavia.

Only shipping itself will cost around 60 dollars to the US, so I guess that leaves US customers with no option to buy this card?
