Well are you paying in Bitcoin or not? Paying via PayPal doesn't give people much faith and if there's no Bitcoin option then it shouldn't be on here at all.

So you are paying people to submit fake reviews? How many people has compromised their integrity for $3? I think a noble person should contact OP, find out which hotel/venue/service it is and give it a negative review on buying positive customer feedback here.

Am I overreacting? May be... Think of the last time you spend money on a holiday and found out the place/service is far worse than advertised.

i was in europe last year.. in the UK for a month.

I guess the lesson to learn from this is not to put too much faith in "customer" reviews on websites. A lot of businesses will do stuff like this or just write their own. I stayed at one hotel in Amsterdam a few years back and after we had booked the hotel we saw many comments online about how unclean and unhygienic and dank the rooms apparently were and there were even rats frequently running around the  place and we were dreading our stay. When we got there the hotel was spotless and there was no rats in sight. Had a great time.

Actually man you should not post a negative reviews until you visit it and see if it deserves the negative reviews or not. These ads had more +pos reviews before even thinking to post these fake reviews. Anyways thanks for your opinion.

Isn't this highly unethical and ultimately self-defeating?

Could people not just use a proxy for this?


I wouldn't say highly unethical, but maybe a bit underhanded or disreputable  :D, but it's a dog eat dog world and businesses need to get their name out there so sometimes they do what they gotta do.

I need real UK citizens to do this. It is too risky to use proxies or VPNs.

And please guys if you don't like this, just don't join it instead of you are writing disappointing comments. I did not started this thread as a discussion or requesting your kind opinions. I needed a help from you guys that is it.

Arent you offering too low for a UK members? 2 pounds can be earned in UK for about 5 minutes of work in your country. TripAdvisor reviews are worth much more money, because most of the people buying there are looking at the reviews made by previous customers.

Where can you earn £2 for 5 minutes of work online? And it only took me a minute to write a review. You don't have to write an essay, just a couple of lines.  It's a nice little bit of coin for a simple and easy task.

This is pretty ridiculous and will reflect badly on the venues in question, as it's completely in breach of the tripadvisor ToS.

Business is business mate.

Not really, but fraud IS fraud.

Plus - and somewhat more importantly - you're just adding to the pollution of the data in a way that's totally ineffective. Constant shit service will be reflected in the genuine reviews either side of whichever ones you're paying for. The occasional spattering of fraudulent positives in contrast to the general consensus wont really fool anyone and will only serve to make the venue look desperate.
