I am pleased to announce that as of today (13th June 2014), our website is live and we are accepting pre-orders for our Limited Edition 25 Litecoin.  Please click this link - http://www.coinographic.com/25ltc-limited-silver (http://www.coinographic.com/25ltc-limited-silver) to view the product in detail.  Everything is currently going to plan and we foresee a shipping date of the end of July or first week in August.  We see no reason for this date changing.  Our ordering process allows you to choose the exact Limited Edition number you would like to purchase.

We have just received the proto-type of our solid oak box for the 25 LTC coin.  We have just approved this proto-type and all 500 boxes will be with us in around 3 weeks.  The box in hand made in England. I think it looks amazing.  Thought you might all like to see some pictures :).  In the back will be a booklet about the coin, the design and Litecoin in general.  The certificate of authenticity will also be there.  Enjoy!

I wanted to make a post to give you all an update as to our time scales for delivery and when we expect to receive the individual components required for the assembly of the coins the dates below are pretty much set in stone now;

1 LTC - Shipping 4th August 2014;
25th July - Boxes delivered to us.
29th July - Coins delivered to us
1st August - Holograms delivered to us.
1st-3rd August - Assembly of pre-orders
4th August - Pre-orders ship


25 LTC - Shipping 18th August 2014;
30th July - Booklets & Certificates delivered to us.
1st August - Holograms delivered to us.
8th August - Boxes delivered to us.
13th August - Coins delivered to us.
13th-17th - Assembly of pre-orders
18th August - Pre-orders ship

Hi,

I wanted to give you all a production update.  Firstly our holograms are running about 6-7 days behind shedule.  You can see below some photos of our hologram Shims.  They are currently being run and cut to size.  We have been assured we will receive them in our hand by Friday 8th August.

Secondly we have a slight delay on our 1 LTC coins from manufacture.  We had some problems with the silver plate finish not being up to standard.  They are also being re-run this week and we should have them in our hands by Friday 8th August.  We will update you all the moment we have them in hand and ofcourse upload some photos.

25 LTC coins and the new contest-winning 2 oz. gold BTC coin look amazing, hoping to add them to my physical crypto collection one day! Can't wait to see how the solid gold coin design turns out on a real struck coin. Keep up the good work Coinographic!

We thought it might be nice to share these photos with everyone.  They are photos of our 5 BTC piece struck in brass for sample purposes.  It’s looking very nice indeed.  We have requested a few changes to be made (enhancing of detail in various parts of the coin & changing the date to 2015).  We expect to have the final sample for approval within 2-3 weeks.  From that point on its all systems go!

To all Coinographic clients and customers:

We're sorry to say that at Coinographic we have been having a bit of a technological nightmare for the last couple of weeks. Our CEO has been having some family problems and personal health issues, keeping him out of the office for a long while.

Once returning, he's been further hit with bad luck as his computer went through a major fault and unfortunately not everything had been backed up.  We have been contacting various experts who are now trying to fix the issues, but because we need to wait for specialist parts, the fix won't be accomplished before Monday or possibly Tuesday of next week.

Our CEO would like to apologise for any inconvenience this has caused: 

"I appreciate that many of you will be asking how this could have happened.  I can only say that the pressure of work, coupled with my ill health at such a crucial time, have led to the error of my not ensuring that everything was backed up in the event of a technological failure.  I've certainly learnt my lesson.  All the information that I need to fund coins or process orders is locked inside the damaged PC.  I can recover it, but have no option but to wait for the experts to fix the problem."

"I can't apologise enough to everyone.  As soon as I can get back online my small staff team and I will be working flat out to resolve all outstanding issues.  Clearly this is something that should not have happened and I will be taking steps to ensure that it won't happen again.  I appreciate how frustrated and upset you may be, but please bear with me while I get everything up and running again and all outstanding funding and orders processed."

UPDATE: All Chikun and LA coins are now back from the hallmarking office and we are in the process of assembley.  All orders will be shipped by close of business tomorrow 12/12/14.
