Title: Crypto Kidz Digital Trading Cards
Post by: JohnnyBTCSeed on June 16, 2014, 09:38:42 PM
This is my take on a satire trading card set inspired by Garbage Pale Kids

(Edit1) I now think that I am going to take this to the next level. I am envisioning an open source card game. By this I mean providing proper formated images and instructions for optimal printing. You can then print at home on what ever paper, or take to a local store or them inter-nets to print out a proper card-stock card.

(Edit2) Thats it! I taking this to the next level. I am going to start a thread soon when I have exhausted the rest of the cards that I have done. I plan on asking the community about various rules and points and powers and such to add to each card.

(Edit3) Boom! Once again___Take N it to the Nxt LEVHAL. I plan one getting an app-built that will proper format a playing card. This will let anyone make a card to add to the game. You just have to lay the ground rules on types of cards you want to use.

(Edit4) Shazip!! Next level shit here... I want to find a way to incorporate this into a blockchain somehow. (edit. most excellent plan to be revealed later)

How did Dorian scam?
1) Almost none of us would know him if it wasn't for Newsweek mag.
2) He didn't ask for a collection to be started, he just wanted to eat lunch (I think)

Edit: His "scam" is denial that he was (possibly) part of a team that created BTC. (For example, "I don't communicate with Bitcoins anymore")

Positive feedback from a supervillain is cool, good job.  :)
JohnnyBTCSeed, I think you misspelled villain as "villian" (on the earlier ones), Gavin's looks right...I think.

You're right I did(edit-fixed). I was hoping nobody would notice as I did one real fast and then as sloppy as I could copy and pasted over it and made a couple. These are just proof of concept. I updated the op with an interesting idea though to take this further. Evil LOL

Max Kaiser should be a villain for pumping and dumping max coin

Charlie lee - bitcoin for fat people ? Makes no sense

Dorian make me Lol but I wouldn't consider him a villain , he should be the "free lunch card"

Max is not on trial in this world for max coin yet. Hmmm Maybe the evil bizzarro maxcoin max, the one who won't STFU about maxcoin.

bitcoin for fat people is a horrible joke....lol -----lite coin,,,, bitcoin lite..... :)

I think the free lunch card is going to be dorian's power. Thanks for the suggestion. Ie: When playing you maybe mistake him for the real satoshi and decide to pay homage to him.

As long as you don't make an exchange to trade your cards and then later turn it into a crappy, poorly coded bitcoin exchange that loses everyone's money, then all is well.   ;D

I'm so happy I stumbled across this thread. You really have something here.  ;D

Max Kaiser should be a villain for pumping and dumping max coin

I couldn't agree with you more. Before this fiasco I used to respect his opinion, but now I can't even stand to look at his face. Instead of using his fame and influence for the good of cryptocurrency he used it to make a few bucks for himself and his friends.  >:(

Anyways, I look forward to seeing what cards come next. Cheers!  8)

I always wondered if there should be dark hero cards
That said the crypto kidz trading cards classify based on a hero and villain system so can't have those type of hybrids
Kind of like a Magneto that said this is still a fun thread :)

someone should make some high quality novelty cards and sell them for the cost of making them to the community.  I'd buy some!

Mircea/Mirsea spelling error.  Hell, if it can work for casacius coin's why the hell not?!  This card will probably be worth 150-225% of what the 'corrected card' will be worth long term :p

i used microsoft publisher. but even microsoft word will do the same thing

rounded rectangle (white-lightgray gradient fill background)
word art for names
image insert
6 rectangles
[lightgray][lightgray]
[medium gray][medium gray]
[lightgray][lightgray]

then for the gold one.. just change main background from white-lightgray to gold gradiant and 6 rectangles to different shades of gold. took 2 minutes

You should consider adding a set of character stats as well...ala old school D&D style.  (if doing a game that is)

str
int
wis
dex
con
chr

Assign hitpoints as well as bitcoin mana (for casting spells and whatnot)
