Title: Planning to get a couple RockMiner R-BOX Post by: FlutterPie on June 17, 2014, 06:16:02 AM So I plan to get some RockMiner R-BOX and set them up on a raspberry pi. Can anyone tell me if I will have problems with this setup, and how many of the RockMiner R-BOX can I hookup on 1 raspberry pi?
I know Im going to need a USB hub obviously, but will a 5V/4A one work? Title: Re: Planning to get a couple RockMiner R-BOX Post by: kabopar on June 17, 2014, 06:30:24 AM I don't think that the R-box is powered off the USB port, as it uses a direct barrel connector for 5V, so the USB hub could be used just to power the rPi.

That clears things up. I have another question though. I checked on some bitcoin calculators earlier just to see what I would be making, and I didn't think it was bad. But now I checked on another calculator and it shows that the difficulty sky rockets. By the third month it shows that my profits would split in half from the first month.
