The battery is very healthy, as it was plugged in most of the time and rarely taken below 50%.

I'd be willing to go up to $875, but what condition is the laptop in?  Are there any scratches, dents, etc. and has it ever overheated or had some sort of hardware failure?

It's in absolutely perfect condition for a used laptop; No dents or scratches, and nothing in it has ever failed or overheated. It has always been used and stored in a cold, non-smoking climate so nothing to worry about on that front either. I'm looking for something closer to BTC2.

Will the computer come with the programs you installed?

Also, on the system76 site, the computer you're selling costs $999.

What's the motherboard?

Yep that $999 figure is without any upgrades. And no, I will either wipe the HDD clean or install a fresh copy of Ubuntu for you -- your choice.

1.56 + Whatever shipping costs are is acceptable. You can choose whether you want it FedEx overnighted, priority, express mail etc. It is in it's original factory packaging so it won't be damaged at all during shipping. I'll provide receipt of whatever the shipping costs end up being of course.
