Title: iPhone autocorrect help Post by: hilariousandco on June 20, 2014, 12:49:13 PM Does anyone know how to stop the iPhone from autocorrecting certain words? Every time I correctly type 'do' it automatically changes it to 'so' and also 'are' to 'ate' and 'of' to' it' amongst others.

Adding words to your phonebook to it learns them? I'm not going to fill my contacts up with random words like 'do' and 'are' etc.

IMO, leave the "Check Spelling" option on, it's quite useful sometimes. It will only underline those word you've typed wrongly instead of autocorrecting everything. |
