According to the bible, women were an afterthought - something given to man to provide companionship.

Well, according to some sources, Eve was the second attempt after the first attempt at creating a "companion" for Adam went seriously wrong. But the Bible contradicts itself in so many places that it's hard for some people who have actually read it all the way through to take it seriously.

You mean Steve? Yeah, that didn't go so well.
According to midrashic literature, Adam's first wife was not Eve but a woman named Lilith, who was created in the first Genesis account. Only when Lilith rebelled and abandoned Adam did God create Eve, in the second account, as a replacement. In an important 13th century Kabbalah text, the Sefer ha-Zohar ("The Book of Splendour") written by the Spaniard Moses de Leon (c. 1240-1305), it is explained that:

" At the same time Jehovah created Adam, he created a woman, Lilith, who like Adam was taken from the earth. She was given to Adam as his wife. But there was a dispute between them about a matter that when it came before the judges had to be discussed behind closed doors. She spoke the unspeakable name of Jehovah and vanished. "

....and some say that she is "the first vampier"........

Quote
In a matrifocal society, it is a goddess or goddesses that play the most important roles, such as being a “Co-Creator” or a “Savior”. In comparison, in patriarchal societies it is invariably a male god that plays this role; and in monotheistic religions a single male God plays even all the divine roles.

Examples of matrifocal societies include Dynastic Egypt (where Isis was the Savior), or the Central Middle Ages in Western Europe (roughly from the 10th to the 13 th century, the period of Courtly Love, also called the Age of Cathedrals which were most frequently dedicated to a Lady). In both these historical societies, a dual currency system prevailed. Detailed evidence for these claims is provided elsewhere (Lietaer, 2000).

Any time women come together with a collective intention, it's a powerful thing. Whether it's sitting down making a quilt, in a kitchen preparing a meal, in a club reading the same book, or around the table playing cards, or planning a birthday party, when women come together with a collective intention, magic happens.

I do not agree with the part that "Women were the first gods" since created things cannot become as creator. Fine, the second part "FIrst Rulers" It is not about ruling, it is about attraction, they have some powerful attraction which pull the minds and energy of men. With their attractiveness they achieve many powerful things with the help of masculine genders.

The bible has a lot of things which are positive and a couple things which can be considered negative too. It is a book, written on the idea of situations years back. Things change and you can't do anything about it. Change is inevitable. The book should evolve too!

Thats why some people went crazy after reading the Bible. You can see that there are contradictions as you go to the other verses

According to the bible, women were an afterthought - something given to man to provide companionship.
Specifically sexual companionship, and only after Adam found that none of the animals satisfied his requirements. God seemed surprised by this development. "You want a what? Oh, right, I totally forgot I created you with a penis. Shit, I hope that doesn't cause any problems later on..."
