Hi, I'm need to collect some data (30 to 120 values) for a stats project. I won't use it in anyway except for my for stats project. And just so you know I've mined about 0.62 btc total. So without further ado the question:

How many bitcoins have you mined total?

I greatly appreciate any input. Thank you.

You should also ask members to specify starting date and duration. If not the numbers are not going very useful to your stats project.

Yeah, that's a good idea. It would be useful for a more in-depth understanding and scatter plots. I don't know that I'll need that for this project because he doesn't tell us what the later parts of the project will be until later.

He didn't specify that we needed quantitative data for the first part where we described the method, so I put that I was going to collect qualitative data (LOL). I'll take whatever I can get and ask him about gathering that info I suppose.

I mined like 0.004 using my personal computer in early 2012.  :)

Do coins with inputs from a pool count?

So basically if you won btc by mining during a giveaway on a pool? I would say yes, but I'm not sure if that's what you mean, sorry.

Never mining bitcoin because my PC have bad spesification and not good for mining  :)

Mined around 1-1.5btc using 2x 7870xt last year.

0.02 Is the most i mined a year ago,but my PC is old now cand cant mine anything.

Around 0.05 in total until today

i solo mined a block in 2010, never moved the coins, never backed up the wallet. forgot about bitcoin, reformatted the hard drive without ever thinking about it, and poof.

that was all i ever mined.... :'(

Personally i was mining for couple days couple years ago. Mined total: 0.01452113 BTC

Between 350-450. Shame I sold 'em all.

Why post then? Seriously, if you haven't mined any BTC at all, then why post all? Are you just spamming for post count, because that's exactly what these low-quality posts seem like.

On-topic:

It seems as though I'm a MAJOR outlier in your data points. I've actually mined more coins than that, but on different pools. (Maybe toss in another 10-15 coins due to different pools)

I tried it for fun with my gpu mid 2013 and it would take 90/100 days to mine 1btc, after 1 hour mining I stopped. Total reward was like 0.01$

I've mined just over one bitcoin since January of last year.  Primarily GPU's mining alt's and converting straight into BTC.

i solo mined in 2011 for about 4 months, in that time I found 4 blocks (200btc). Afterwards I switched to pool mining, I lost track since all the coins I mined and purchased/traded etc are co-mingled. I mined about 7k namecoins from the time I started mining til about this time last year when I sold them all.

Mined 0.0003 using a nvidia mobile GPU late last year.

around 0.02 i think, did mine a litecoin block and feathercoin block though!
