Title: Cannabis/pot coin
Post by: bitkilo on June 23, 2014, 12:14:16 PM
I think with the banks not taking dollars from state legal cannabis dispensers the need for a type of crypto currency to cater for these businesses is a must. Could one of these be the next big coin? From what I've seen Cannabis coin looks like it could work.

There's several of these cannabis coins already and none of them will go anywhere. Why would dispensaries or whatever use a cannabis coin when they can just use Bitcoin? We really don't need a coin for every niche or industry on the planet.

+1
A few of them accept Bitcoin already:

It seems to work well for them, and I don't see why they'd take the risk in accepting a coin with such a low trade volume as the cannabis coins.
