Title: Summary of Bitcoin Regulations from the Law Library of Congress
Post by: clp16 on June 25, 2014, 06:25:34 PM
I thought these were really useful high level descriptions of where a bunch of companies are in their latest bitcoin regulation talks. The page on Wikipedia was pretty good, but there were some countries missing from there that I really wanted to know about like Portugal!

Hope it's useful for anyone else trying to get a handle on what their country is thinking.

Would be a really helpful summary but things move very fast in bitcoin land and a lot of it's already out-of-date. For example, they list the UK as charging VAT on sales of bitcoins, which hasn't been true for a few months.

Thank you for sharing. That's actually a pretty neat resource, despite accounts of it being a little outdated. I suppose a simple Google Alert for 'bitcoin' would probably pick up on any regulatory news that hits the mainstream media.
