Your line violates a basic tenet of trend lines.  In a downtrend, we have lower highs and lower lows.  You can clearly see from your chart that we recently had a higher high.  If we can establish a higher low, then we are in a confirmed bull trend.

Price needs to stay above the 200 SMA for confirmation of a new long term bull trend. This has failed to happen so far.

You wanna post this chart again when the year is actually near end?

That graph gives off a strong "buy" vibe. Can't figure out why  ::)

That chart didn't showed any 'buy' signals at 450s...

Of course any half of us could be wrong at some point this year, but with the amount of media, venture capital, and development happening I doubt we're on a year long bear trend. I'm not saying we have to go to $5k this year, but at some point this ship is gonna start sailing north.

Some images are worth a thousand words, yet for others even one is too much.

Let's hope july is like november then,

it's about 8 months so it's about time for a new rally.

say goodbye to triple digits. 2000 is the new 500

say goodbye to triple digits.

Yes sadly it will happen soon. We will wait to see 3 digits again for a long long time. BitCoin will need lots time to recover of all troubles coming in near future.

We'll see... Not convinced we're going to have a rally this year yet.

there is simply no way of knowing what will happen, like they say "the night is darkest before the dawn"
this could shoot back up anytime, in the meantime, just try to get more on trading those short ups and downs.

Me neither.

But that "downtrend" you drew was so sloppy, it made masterluc cry (and he's not even reading this forum anymore) :D

sold my bitcoins at 585 and 575.

On a private exchange someone was panic selling for 547 so I couldnt resist and bought a few.  Not sure If I should dump them for a quick profit on a large exchange or hodl....

This month is almost identical to September of last year..

I've been looking at the weekly chart and sept-oct last year looked just like this. run up and bear trap. nice rise off the established bottom, then 3 red candles, before a green candle trading in the same range for a week, then it made a break for the moon. now we've had a run up off the bottom, three weeks of red candles and then a week sideways ending in a green. deja vu anyone? i hope i hope haha
