Title: Ukraine and EU sign free trade zone deal with EU

Quote
Ukraine as well as Moldova and Georgia have signed free trade deals with the EU, stepping away from Russia even though big economic risks lie ahead.

The signing of the agreement comes after 8 months of violent unrest in Ukraine, which broke out in Kiev and spread across the country in November after then-President Viktor Yanukovich decided to delay the singing of the trade agreement.

...

No longer Russia’s preferential trade partner, Ukraine stands to lose $500 billion as it cuts ties with Russia. However, the new government filled with hope about the prospect of duty-free trade with Europe’s $17 trillion economy.

Yippie! Life will immediately get better in Ukraine and Europe will see an influx of high-demand Ukrainian goods. Or maybe, not.

Everyone, prepare to eat Poroshenko's chocolates!  :P Europeans should also prepare for some austerity to pay for Ukraine.  ;)

Quote
In 2013, EU exports to Ukraine were worth $33 billion (23.9 billion euro), dominated by industrial equipment, chemicals, and manufactured goods.

Ukraine exported 13.8 billion euro worth of goods to the EU, mostly materials like iron, steel, and minerals. Agricultural and food products are also substantial exports.

Iron, steel, minerals are in Novorossia.
Agricultural and food products were grown in the fertile black earth of Novorossia, now "fertilised" by phosphorus bombs.
So, EU will not be importing anything, but Ukraine can expect to be flushed with excess goods from Europe.

Oh, and this:

Quote
“It is their sovereign right, but the Russian Federation will have to take measures in case it negatively effects the local market,”Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s spokesperson said, commenting on the agreements signed between the EU and Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova.

The pro-EU idiots in Western Ukraine will realize their mistake, when the EU forces Kiev to make 80% haircuts out of the savings bank accounts. Welcome to permanent IMF slavery!

EU is about to get a  taste of lies from Kiev that Russia had to deal with over the last years:
http://ria.ru/world/20140628/1013915588.html

After signing of the association agreement, during the press conference, Poroshenko said that the agreement assumes Ukraine becoming an EU member, something that was not mentioned in the agreement.

Later, his press-service mentioned two point as if they were present in the agreement, when they are not.

EU is not informed about those points that it presumably agreed to.

I fear that the Ukrainians might become extinct if they acquire the EU membership. Look at Latvia and Lithuania. They have lost 20% of the population in the last 2 decades. With Ukraine, it will be far worse. Close to 50%.

Also, Ukraine is having a huge population (46 million, which can result in a migrant population of 5 million to 15 million). Even the Bulgarians (population of 7 million) faced so much travel restrictions in the EU, despite Bulgaria being an EU member state. Even if Ukraine becomes the EU member, major countries such as Spain, UK, France, Germany and Italy will impose travel restrictions on them for at least 20 years. Only the shitty nations, such as Sweden and Poland will be welcoming the Ukrainian immigrants.

The thread and the news are about a free trade agreement. The EU has this with a lot of countries which will never be part of EU so stop with your non-sense.

Besides , calling Sweden a shitty nation ? you jungle boy with your fourth world country?

Oh, trust me. My country is much more developed than your country (Romania). The crime rate is much lower, and the HDI is very much higher. Posting some pictures from your country, to remind you:

While this serves USA geopolitical goals and weakens the Russian position in the region I only see the EU as being the looser, heck not even Romania is fully integrated right now, and there are still major issues with roman immigrants in southern europe right now but that's my opinion I guess

I have asked him tens of times to reveal his beautiful country but he keeps dodging the question.
Mean time he accuses every country in the world of being shitty and this although I clearly remember he said he has never set foot in us/eu or even Russia.

I hate people who live in their huts and by reading newspapers or wikipedia they claim they know everything about everything.

If Sweden is a shitty country then what the hell is Nigeria ?

No way , I clearly remember he had no clue about the fact that "blood money" is still widely used in Japan nor what it means.
He also had a wrong picture about Japan in many things including their law system.

Probably he lives in Patala.

These three countries will give the EU more manpower really cheap, unprotected labor to be subject to work without any social rights ...
Really a win, but only for large companies, a defeat for European workers!

Not to the Ukrainians who move west.  You make more money as a construction labourer in London than working as a doctor in Ukraine.  There's also far more worker rights in western Europe than in the east.

Though moving to a cesspool like London is equivalent to selling your soul for money.  It's not the 1980s communism anymore, most of Eastern Europe now has contemporary cities with technology and it has a better community than the west.  It's just the wages which suck and/or finding a job.  Otherwise if you have a job it's often a good thing.

Ukraine made such a big deal from this. As the result they will be only poorer, even with only association. Look at Bulgaria. Look at Greece. Look at Romania and so on. Europe does not need anything from these countries. Not even as a workforce.

Greece and those other countries were not made poor by EU.  They had debt crisis going back decades and then adopting the EU meant they couldn't print themselves out of debt.   Would you rather have high unemployment or hyperinflation?  The latter would be more harmful for small economies than say Weimar Germany which was capable of producing its' own consumer goods.

Plus we've known what the traditional strategy was.  The Greeks were probably counting on America, Australia and Canada to accept a million of their unemployed, except to find nobody wants the poor Greeks when you can instead have multi-millionaires from Arabia, China and India.

Again somebody who has no clue about what he is talking.

Romania was made poor by the damn communist regime and in the following 11 years when an ex kgb trained officer was elected through fraud as president.

Things have improved so much during the last years only an idiot would deny it.

It is our own fault that things are not like in the rest of the EU. It's the corruption and our politicians fault for this , we are to blame for it.

The Western Europeans might not need the workforce, but for sure they need the ready access to these markets. Western & Central European markets look saturated right now. The only growth is occurring in the east, especially in countries such as Croatia, Baltics and Poland.

I've found an interesting read:
http://meatinfo.ru/news/na-ukrainu-nadvigaetsya-tsunami-restitutsii-326551

A wave of restitution threatens to overrun Ukraine.

One of the consequences of signing of EU association agreement is Ukraine's obligation to adapt its laws to EU standards, where restitution is a key element.

Polish and Hungarian former owners have serious views on property and land in Western-Ukraine, as does the Jewish community.

So, has Russia taken control of Ukrainian yet? Should be a simple task for such a big country.

That's the pincher, isn't it? :) Russia was never interested in taking control over Ukraine, unlike some Western powers tried to misrepresent.
