Title: KNC JUPITER miner HELP! 550GHS!
Post by: ardiano123 on June 27, 2014, 09:44:05 AM
Hey everyone,
I was just looking through my settings of my knc jupiter miner (550GHS)
And I have 4 asic boards with all the same settings but 1 board has different settings and is using too little Watt.
please take a look at:

Also, the 'die 1' is set on 0.1465V while all other dies on all other asicboards are set on -0.0806V
I think there is something wrong.
Do I have to change the 0.1465V to -0.0806V ? Is this harmfull?
I don't know a lot of the jupiter and I don't want to break it.
Please help!

Kind regards,

Did you buy this secondhand? The Jupiter has a dead die and it looks like the previous owner was overvolting it to try to wake the die. If the die comes back to life, then you start reducing the voltage until it's running stable. The method is approved by KNC.

yes I bought this secondhand! but can the die come back to life? and what is a die exactly?
But I dont think the 'dead die' is affecting something? Because Im still getting 550 Gh/s and that is normal for a jupiter right?
