I don't know if this is authentic video from Anonymous group, but if it is, than i didn't understand it well, can someone explain me, what is their aim in this video? Just to visit the link?

Yeah that was my take as well. But it would be cool if there was a "hacktivist" style operation promoting crypto.

Everybody can claim they are the anonymous group. I think, in the case of anonymous especially, the message is more important than the messenger.

Yes but it sucks to abuse popularity of anonymous to get enought attention.

I wonder what would happen if say a couple of thousand people getting housing mortgages, once having the mortgage accepted by the banks, demanded the banks give them the money in cash so they could pay the person they are buying the house off in person. Not saying that is even possible, but if it were, that would hurt...

Anonymous does not have web pages that collect e-mail addresses.

They put instructions on Tor or 4chan or places like that.

I don't see this happening, some new guy makes a youtube account and a website as well as a fake anonymous announcement video and claims he's taking down banks and promoting crypto's.
What a joke, just like december 21 the world ending.

a used address...I'm sure anonymous would have made a fresh one dedicated to contributions for this project. This is no more than a fake trying to get a bit of free coin.

Maybe we will get annoucment of NoBanksCoin or some shit like that, yes they would sure NOT use used address but let's get surprised if someting really inovative or supportive would come out i will be happy.

I have no idea what I just watched. I know who anonymous is, but this screamed fake, as many others have said.

This is like a VERY VERY OLD broadcast that Anonymous would do, as (It may just be me) the videos have gotten higher quality with a lessening of the old-TV effects.

It also looks like a video that's made to hype cryptos, not a whole lot else. Just "Hype and Email".

And also looking at the address, where in the world did he get 8BTC? And even then, he proceeds to spend it off, leaving him with 0.01BTC...

I don't know, maybe something will happen and this was real after all. But I can't say for sure, due to the fact that this has no way to confirm that it is reputable, without asking Anonymous themselves.

This is not a video by the anonymous. Anonymous don't post videos to the YouTube. They post the videos in hidden sites, which are then uploaded by others to video-sharing sites. But this is a fake video by someone else.

Yeah. There is very little chance that this is a genuine video.

This is not their style. Despite attempts by the video creator to emulate it.

Same thought. Letting your enemy know right before you want to attack them is a pretty stupid thing to do.

We will accomplish nothing but wasting time and money belonging to an all ready over taxed group of people with jobs.

We will have people like Kanye West who wears $400 T-shirts and drives $1 million dollar armored SUVs march with us

We will cost cities millions of dollars of tax payer funded clean-up of our refuse because apparently mother nature doesn't have room service in the park

We will cost cities million of dollars in police overtime - money that could have been spent reducing crime

We will riot in the streets destroying the storefronts of thousands of small businesses to show our frustration towards the mistreatment of the little guys (like who people who.....run small businesses).

Not sure if Anonymous wants to tie into these guys.

This is a lot of what the liberals in the occupy movement were doing when they were "occupying"  several cities. It was really mostly them just draining society.

For the OP I don't think that video is really from Anonymous, I don't think they would post to youtube like that
