Title: BOUNTY: Need help with 'sendalert'
Post by: integrity42 on June 29, 2014, 01:56:36 PM
Trying to test sendalert on an altcoin im developing.
sendalert <message> <privatekey> <minver> <maxver> <priority> <id> [cancelupto]

./coincoind sendalert "the answer is 42" "27275617279DB25365E64BB2E0DF16A91005652B83F2F331F8F585" 10000 80000 100 1000

I see this error.
error: {"code":-1,"message":"value is type str, expected int"}

there are only 2 strings, the message, and they key, which clearly aren't supposed to be integers.

Will send $50 to anyone who can help me debug.
(Note that the hex string isn't my actual private key)

have you tried not putting quotation marks around the hex string?
