Post by: pengoau on March 02, 2012, 11:28:59 PM Well apparently there is an australian broker/exchanger out there that is reliable and to date trustworthy. you deposit into his bank account (anz) i think and he transfers btc to the btc address you specify was just wondering if someone would know of it or anything else reliable/trustworthy for us aussies ;)
So far, I've been told to use https://ebuygold.com/index.php?act=buyec then https://btc-e.com/. So buy liberty reserve, then transfer from liberty reserve to btc-e and buy btc there. Sometimes the website reports it is short of bitcoins to sell, but I keep checking back they become available. But didn't you read the thread about the stolen coins, where 2 persons had their MtGox accounts locked for depositing stolen coins that Also, I didn't uderstand from where the coins were stolen from, but it was the same day(or the day after) of the Linode heist. It would be ok if there was actually you, like, volume on CrypoXchange and I could move a large amount of BTC... but given the volume, I can only move a small amount of BTC and the deposit cost cuts into the deposit amount by a huge margin.

I'm an American but I'd recommend BitPiggy, simply because I met Mat at the San Antonio conference, we traded contact info, and he seems to really have a handle on things.
