This thread is maybe fun but I think it's important.

I don't like trolls, like all of us.

If thread is not self moderated, we're often forced to see trolls spaming bulls^it about everything.

Often on that coin ABC is shit, won't go anywhere; ABC = scam, sell coins, dev =s^it, coin = s^it etc. WITH NO REASON.

Only to cause panic; to disturb and lie etc. making THRASH at forum.

I know there's a "ignore" button, but I wonder if there's any chance to permanently BAN him for his disturbing this great forum ???

The problem is that some moderators are the fathers trolls. :D

Everyday they delete some of my messages without any reason (or maybe because my messages are too short? ... wtf), but when i report a troll or defamer they do nothing.

But permanent bans don't get rid of trolls, it just encourages them to create a new account and continue trolling.  I think the ignore button and not responding to trollishness is the best solution long-term.

An ignore feature doesn't automatically make terrorists disappear.

This isn't a problem that will take care of itself.

It is our responsibility to have him eliminated.

He's not a terrorist, just an annoying user. If all of you ignore him, none of you that dislike him will see his posts. You could try contacting BadBear, malevolent or other Global mods and explain the situation.

Fake/bad/false Trust is the norm. I have quite a bit. No ban needed as he will continue to make accounts. Ignore is your best bet and make self moderated threads.
Ban him today and who will be tomorrow? Will you ban books or music next?

If mod sees this please do ban (IP if possible) he does not do anything good to the community and environment of the forum.

Owning more then 1 account is no problem in this forum, anyone can hold more then 1 account, I don't think mod will be ban for this reason.

Perhaps I can also give bad trust here only for fun. I have an idea where to start. :-X

The whole trust system is unmoderated, and if you are not on the default trust list, your trust feedback is hidden by default and makes little impact.

You may check the "Untrusted feedback" on Badbear (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=41911) for some examples of fake trust.  ;D

Indeed you are allowed to have multiple accounts on bitcointalk, as long as you are not ban evading.

he was already on my ignore list, and i paid little attention to him, but his spamming in threads is so annoying and others replying to him, i mentioned about the ignore feature. then he decided to place some silly negative trust, only reason i noticed these other accounts of his.   Who knows how many accounts he uses here, i just add them to the ignore list as i notice them :D

but be aware not just a troll and liar but a thief/scammer as well.

They don't ban scammers either, but I think you can get banned or at least have feedback removed for spaming the trust system.

oh well at least more can be aware of this guy.

You can never stop someone from trolling, and even if the account is banned, he/she can come back with 10 different new accounts.

He does look a little trollish from his post history but I would want to read multiple pages of the thread a particular post is in for context, and then do that for multiple posts, and my brain melts everytime I try to read any of those threads. 

I can definitely see it getting to you that said I do enjoy looking at all those Bitcoin and Litecoin based forks on the map of coins and shaking my head at the sheer amount of coins.

Since I'm here guess I'll pick on the Chinese guy and ask if any of the Chinese mods can read to confirm it noting its a John K and horserider subboard and since John is long gone there is only 1 active mod there for a pretty active board so not able to tell myself if its a legit accusation can't read Chinese. (The google translator seems to suggest it fairly strongly though)

Wait, am I reading this correctly, this thread actually worked?  I'm impressed, as I followed it along it didn't look like much if anything was going to happen.  While I didn't see any of this guy's posts, I'm glad that the mods are so active.  Thanks.

No worrys if he gets banned or not, he has trolled so many coins now and annoyed many people. The guy has drawn a target on his back and it will only be a matter of time before someone gets to him. I know of a couple senior members that are from here he has got to who are also very skilled hackers, it is only going to be a matter of time before one of them or somebody else he has crossed takes revenge. So just ignore him as me and many others have and just wait for one of them to take him down.
