I will play when Facebook accepts bitcoin and they do some neat version of a SimCity kind of game ;D

I agree with the notification part. You should be able to automatically blacklist all games notifications. I have had a enough of having 20 odd game notifications and requests every day.

You can block each game individually.  Once you do, that one game cannot send any more notifications.

I remember when I use to play Farm Ville, and no I dont play any facebook games anymore  ;D

I am playing lots of games on Facebook but chess is my favorite one game which I like to play daily 1 hour in the day .Facebook allows me to play games with different opponent which has come from different countries .

Playing games on facebook is not enjoyable anymore that's why I quit playing games on FB.

I used to play Bejewelled and Zumba Blitz, but these days I only use the Scrabble app on Facebook. Even then I rarely play, but that is a pretty convenient game to play with friends as you can take your turn leisurely.

You do know you can block them Individually ..? will take few mins but worth it.
If i have to answer asked by OP, I'll say I don't play many games fb but sometimes Chess , 8 ball pool that's all about it..!

I just moved on there's better games to play for Xbox, PS4, PC or even the 3ds, Facebook isn't really the same anymore its starting to fall off to twitter just like myspace did to facebook.

I played Mafia Wars for a month and then got sick of the silly grind.  The gameplay for these games is too simplistic for my tastes.

The game notifications are annoying as hell and i mostly don't play anything there and i don't send requests to anyone.
If i'm really realy bored then i turn on candy crush saga sometimes

Yeah, about 5 years ago, i used to play some, like Ninja Saga, Mafia Wars, Stick Run, and Zynga poker.

And now i'm not playing those game anymore. I feel guilty when i play for a not really exciting games since it was like wasting my time.

Can you transfer your farm there or do you have to start over? I don't want to start over if that's the case.

Agreed, the novelty of the games wear off rather quickly. Most tend to be the same game masked as something different.  The amount of real money spent on the games blows my mind.  Zynga which is one of the biggest players in the game business, makes hundreds of millions every year.  Hard to believe people spend real money to build and maintain fake farms.

No kidding, never understood the point of cheating on any game, facebook games included.  What kind of satisfaction does a person get by cheating to achieve something in a game?  I don't get it.  People are just cheating themselves.  No different than with video games. i prefer to know I got as far as I have by actual skill, not cheats.

Now that I know that you can cheat even in those obnoxious facebook games I would never gonna play any facebook game.

I play candy crush all the time. That game is so addicting.

For those who have a tonne of friends on facebook and add every person the meet, sure, then that analogy would be correct.  There are some of us who only keep close friends on facebook, frankly, I don't need people I hardly know see what I post.  I do have some that aren't all that close since they have moved far away, but it's nice to be able to know what they are up to without having to call them constantly.


I used to play it all the time, got boring though, not enough people took it seriously while playing.  Moved over to Pokerstars, little more competitive when there is real money involved.

+1. I recently found out that if you play it from your laptop and waste all your 5 lives, if you login on your phone, you're good to go with 5 new ones. Like there is no connection between the browser and the app, even tho you are logged in with the same profile. ;D

The current year in which we are living is no longer 2006. I do not think that any person should be engaging in gameplay on the Facebook social network in this day and age. It is simply not socially acceptable to invite one's friends over to play Farmville or Candy Crush when one could participate in one of many free to play games ending in the number 2 such as Team Fortress 2 or Dota 2.

I did play facebook games. Specially tic-tac-toe. Now I don't play any facebook game.

just 8 Ball Pool and Candy crush and no other games , IMO actual FaceBook games are Farm Ville-like games (ones requiring continious follow up for weeks/months).

played a game called Castle Age in Facebook, the game style is the regular fight-develop-buy equipments etc... but liked the castles and game graphics, candy crush seems like a cool game too.

Games on Facebook are kind of like crack, like the game Cookie Clicker.  I'll admit that I was obsessed with Farmville for a while.  I loved my farm. 

Texas Holdem Poker & Ninja Kingdom just got into it.

i used to play cityville, farmville, and some others ..but i now feel that these games are trash....
