Mine was in English:

Whatever.  I don't think I had more than a cent's worth of BTC at MtGox when it went tits-up, if that.  Sucks to be those who treated it like a bank, I suppose...this ends up being a potentially expensive lesson in missing the point.

So long story short: there are a lot of creditors and questions but we can only awnser FAQ's so go to our website.

Why do they even send a letter for this bullshit? I recon they want to stretch time as long as possible and try to de-escalate the situation before actually doing something.
My mind is way to tired to think logical, sorry :P

I just got the letter even though the last time I traded there was in 2012 and my cash and BTC balances were close to 0.

It's pretty annoying that my private information is being released to an ever widening circle of agencies even though I no longer have any interest in Mt. Gox.

Maybe e-mail them and tell them you have no interest in them anymore and that they shouldn't contact you?

If they were close to zero then you would still have an legal interest in the resolution of the bk case. If your balances were exactly zero then they would likely not be contacting you.

I can confirm this is true. I had two accounts at Mt. Gox, one created in 2011 and another in 2014. Neither were verified nor did they have any funds. I haven't been contacted by Mt. Gox.

I get the same feeling in my gut.  The people that posted they received a letter don't really seemed to have any real news to add to the topic.  That just leads me to think this is some ploy to stall and make it look like things are being done.  In reality nothing seems to have changed but I'll wait and reserve judgement for now.

That is a fair concern to have.  :(

I got one of these postcards today as well.
I can't understand much of it, but I focused on paragraph  1 (3):
Quote
Period for filing proofs of bancruptcy claims By November 28, 2014
So what should I do? I had some BTC on gox when it shut down and my balance is confirmed when I log in..

I bet you have probably done this already but you want to get as much proof that you have BTC at Gox as possible.  Take screenshots, save records of your BTC wallet where you sent them the BTC and save any correspondence whether physical or electronic you had with Gox.  Do you mean you haven't gotten a letter and other people have?  If so you might have to do something to notify the court that you are a creditor.

I'm receiving correspondence still, which has been a bit vexing...

I didn't send any BTC to gox, but I sent fiat money with wire transfer, I guess the bank's receipt will do.
I have received this postcard as well as some email from them.

Many courts require that notices be sent to creditors for a number of reasons

I would think that MyGox's bank records should be enough to show that you had fiat on deposit with them.

Does anyone know WHERE the creditor's meeting is being held, and WHEN? Not just the day, but the TIME.
