Title: cannot connect to rpc server? Post by: zenthor on April 28, 2011, 09:17:35 PM hi, im using pocnlm- gui miner the miner was working fine for awhile, sometime last night my system reset and now whenever i run the miner i get a cannot connect to bitcoin rpc server. the exact error message is ", Problems communicating with bitcoin RPC"
Ive tried using different mining pools/servers and different miner clients and each time i get this same error. i currently have the standard bitcoin client running on generate coins (using cpu) and it is working fine, i have also double checked the firewall to make sure ports 8332 to 8334 were open. All the threads I have ready say to check internet connectivity, ports, firewall and what not. However I have two rigs both have the same components and share the same internet connection. Both running the Linux Coin off a bootable usb, using the same arguments. One connects just fine, the other give me that error every time.
